it's definitely a neat looking ship. I know 4 mutant ninjas in New York City that would love to have a copy of this ship, especially to fight off invaders from Dimension X.

My rpg group had one when we played the original west end games D6 system. We called it the Gamera. Based on the turtle kaiju.

Ours is the Nova Star. My character lives in the Starboard escape pod, and reigns supreme in the workshop/engineering bay, being a droid tech/engineering geek. Nothing stays the same for very long on this ship :D

The 720 was always a favourite of mine, at least in LEGENDS! I don't believe it was a good decision to give this ship so much "Bith-flaws" in the new CANON! That makes things more complicated for me.

I've always wondered. Does this ship have two engines or four? I always thought it had two on each side and two smaller ones in the back between the escape pods.

My bounty hunter uses a Ghtroc 720, called the Flying Beskarback, named after a species of turtle found on Mandalore.

Those seem like oddly large escape pods for a ship of this size. But I suppose if you ever *are* in a position of having to use them, you'd appreciate not having to pack in like sardines to escape.

I’d like to imagine that because of the size they could be modified into small shuttles like on the “Ghost”. Or maybe even one shuttle, one small fighter?

@@sadbear101 They totally can! They are already space worthy, and "only" need Ion engines, Sensors, better repulsorlifters and controls to work as ship gig or small shuttle. They are also light and compact enough to receive a hyperdrive from an ARC 170, or an A- or B- wing. Not a combat craft, but it'll take you anywhere under the radar...

Like it better when it was a sea turtle 🐢. It's does look strong like a reinforce hull or something . Thanks for mentioning the novel ,I'll check it out. I'd turn em into gun boats . Or heavy bombers, orbital bombs for in space and old school protons for planetary. I like the ideal of orbital bombs for holding ships in place , they react to a ship moving or powering up an then attach. And low tech bombs just to carpet a driod factory.

I use the "people are more talented than me at animating" tool. 😅 seriously, a lot of the footage i get is from mods of the video game Empire at War and I highlight a lot of awesome models by users on sites like Sketchfab. Full credit to those modelers though, solid work!

It could be! Honestly some names in Star Wars are just left to the interpretation of the reader, as there aren't pronunciation guides for many of the questionable names/organizations.
