Streamer: "We need a good insult." Jo: "Hey, I got one." Streamer: "Okay, go ahead." Jo: "Hey, are your parents the devs of 1.0? Because damn, they to try again."
8:30 : my guess is that he's saying "Masaka", which is a phrase that you'd hear a lot in anime. It's used as a mark of disbelief, usually in a setting of treaterous actions. For example, if a supposed ally backstabs a character, said character will say that just before or just after being stabbed.
It’s very funny that looking at the Dancer from the outside you get the impression it’s random because it’s exactly the opposite, the procs being 50% means at most you have to press a button twice to move on to the next button, and when the next button is ready, it lights up, so Dancer is the simplest in the game to play
@@chimericpaladin35813 Dance partner does stack with another dancer but its a overall DPS loss if there's another melee in the party. You can even hyper buff a melee if you so choose but I think the other dps may get angry.
@@chimericpaladin35813 There are things that stack and there are things that dont ... so while its viable to have double partnered ... its not optimal ....
Right, getting right into it. Peloton is the ranged DPS group movement buff. Increases everyone's speed in an AOE around the user. Not as fast as popping sprint, but can be upkept, though it drops in combat. At 1:50 that appears to be oatmeal. 5:30 Aliens! 7:45 Digimon. 8:30 I got nothing either mate. 14:11 That guy in the recommended video looks familiar. 17:45 Here here!
8:30 “Masaka” is Japanese for “impossible” What’s going on here is sort of a general reference to anime. This is something villains may often say as their plans fall apart.
For the Dancer. It's not random as far as the button is concerned. It's 1,2,3,4,5 just depends on if they light up after the attack. It's not like 1 3 5 4.
Don't you mean that the Geneva Convention is a guide for horrors to add to your story( usually by a player that wants to mess up a DM's carefully laid plans)
For those curious about what Jocat was talking about during his insult, to quote the man himself: "dissecting the frog for non-XIV players: 1.0 was the original version of FFXIV that was so bad and poorly received by critics and consumers that the developers completely shut it down and rebuilt the game basically from the ground up to be better, hence why the game is subtitled "A Realm Reborn""
Butterfly is the original Japanese opening theme for Digimon Adventure You... DO know that if you don't like RNG rotations you can just... play any job that doesn't have one, right? There's only like, three jobs that have any RNG at all in their rotation.
Accurate, DRK openers are insane. As off tank, I start off with my stance off so I dont out aggro the Main tank. Poor dancer spends the rest of the fight catching up with my deeps. But we salute their contributions in savage raids, always two, there must be.
@@arkleuss Just looked that up. The whispered "Digimon" was great. On the side also noticed that Italy did completely original song for their opening too. But yeah, the one that ran in the USA was Digimon Are The Champions song which can be basically boiled down to repeating words "Digimon" and "Digimon! Digital Monsters! Digimon are the Champions!".
Estinien, not Einstein. it's the name of one of the characters. he's the azure dragoon butterfly is the original japanese opening song for digimon adventure. ^^ bards sometimes have a harp attached to the top half of their bow, but their bows aren't literally harps (except for the artemis bow which is a harp that can fold out into a bow)
The button for next frame or previous frame only works when the last thing you clicked is the screen/video itself instead of the pause button, time bar, volume, etc
Casters are set to be the last video of this series. Which will presumably be BLM, RDM, and SMN, with probably a snark to BLU’s purgatorial existence as well.
Something like this: "Blue Mages have no sense of originality and instead steals moves from the bad guys, to the point that they have to hide their faces behind a zorro mask to remain anonymous while doing their dirty plagiarism" "What does Blue Mage? I dunno. It says DPS but most of their spells are gimmicky and senseless that you can hire one to perform at your baby cousin's birthday party if you forgot to hire a clown to entertain the babies"
Ah yes DNC, the inheritor of the original Machinist's RNG 1-2-3 combo system. At least MCH back then had the ammo system to force their 'coinflips' to succeed. It hurts my Soul when i do a dungeon run and not get a single 'coinflip' win the entire time. At least DNC has their once q minite skill that says 'give me ALL of my coinflip wins NOW'
RU-vid controls for back and forward: All of these need you to have paused or something so it focuses on the video Left/right arrows: Move configured amount (default 5 seconds) ./,: move 1 frame
Guns get hot and bothered, 'thats not how guns work' My friend, guns in ff14 arent your usual fare, they function more along the style of an electrical railgun shaped like a gun of your choice that is kept charged by a small aetheric converter you keep on your waist thatcdraws in ambient energy and converts it into electrical energy so you can keep firing. The whole 'hot and bothered' is you dumping a massive electrical charge into your gun to hypercharge it (and as such start firing at a much faster rate) as for the 'Queen', you are a MACHINIST, not just someone with a gun, you keep making all sorts or mechanical marvels to improve your ability to fight, such as a giant cannon you carry around for the 3 'giant bullets' known as drill, air anchor, and chain saw, or the bioblaster and auto-crossbow AoE options, the queen starts out as a small turret until you get skilled enough to build a full on humanoid robot to replace it that charges into to punch everything and has a pilebunker mounted on one arm
"It's random. You don't know what you're going to press!" It's frequent. How often you're pressing things means high chances of it going off. It gives buffs that you can see according to where you put the UI for them to help you tell when you can do so to make it that much easier. Base gameplay, it's very simple, and the interface is so customizable that it can cater to so may different people. I rarely find a single person with the same interface as another. In conclusion, give it some time, find a rhythm, and it all feels natural.
It’s not a recap but JoCat has VODs of him playing from A Realm Reborn through Endwalker on his other channel JoCat Streams. He’s a great voice actor and fun to watch.
you can change the ui around to your liking, as well as ui window sizes. Ya i hate how christmas starts in retail like the second holoween ends (or even ealier depending on your location). I mean lets get through Thanksgiving first. Honestly retail should """"NOT""" start their chrismas sells/deco's/songs untill Dec 1.
4:10 Bro read it like "Einstein" when actually it's spelled E-s-t-i-n-i-e-n and clearly pronounced- *_ESTINIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN_* _(He's the Azure Dragoon)_
11:00 Although Dancer can be random, most classes aren't so you shouldn't say you won't play FFXIV over that when you can just pick the classes that aren't which are most classes. And Interface can be bad, yes, but FFXIV is like a master of freedom which by that I mean you can change the interface the way you want, but if you don't like the interface for needing to use many hotkeys for the skills then that can't be helped though so meh. Lol XD
The UI is getting a facelift...and oddly the UI has been praised by WoW players... since you dont need to add stuff. I mean there are mods to clean up and give the player extra stuff to spruce the UI. I think there's also a ton of UI guides to actually clean it up.
