Lore of Shadows Spell Guide | Total War: Warhammer 2 

Could you start mentioning which spells can be cast on top of walls? Pit of Shades is an OK spell in field battles, but great in sieges because you can drop it on clumps of units fighting on a wall.

Tome Kings can also use this if you are lucky with one of the Books of Nagash.

I feel overcast pits of shades does definetly have its uses. It can be stronger than overcast pendulum against elite units in my experience, beeing able to basically delete two stacks of them with a well placed cast, while a normal cast only tickles them. Though I am talking about single player, so I can imagine in MP people will be able to doge it much easier, and you risking to waste 20 winds of magic.

brief description of multiplayer: Lore of anti mid/high tier infantry/faction. Dislike the elves? Drop a nice pendulum. Having a tough time against monsters/cavs? Drop an enfeebling. Dawi onion making you cry? peel it with a pendulum....

Would love it if you did a series on TW:W2 magic types. It's something I don't use a great deal purely as I don't have a clue the advantages/disadvantages!

My favorite mage type. These are the most effective combinations Ive used Melkoth + Withering = does decent damage, slows enemy and reduces armor, focus fire archers will melt this target. Great for dangerous charging units Enfeebling = The best spell here for 1v1 melee units. Both army or single model fights. Will give you a significant advantage. Overcast for more effectiveness through extra duration. Use right before the enemy unit engages with yours for best results Okkram's Mindrazor = Use on top of Enfeebling, it's good damage if you are getting hits in. Good if you are flanking from the rear already, like cavalry. Also great for physical resistant units like Syreens and Wraiths, one of the best spells in the game against those type of 75% physical resistant units Pits = great for nuking archer units or clumped up melee. Faster cast time and pulls them into the Vortex and doesnt randomly go weird places like many other vortex spells. Great damage if you center it correctly

I think this is my favorite lore of magic to use.

I don't get why this lore doesn't have any stealth illusion or even teleportation spells. Isnt that what its supposed to be about? It mostly comes of as a less dark lore of death. Its a pretty good damage dealing and demoralizing lore I just don't get its theme. The speed boost it grants isnt that useful either.
