thank you so much for checking out my playthrough of Zenless Zone Zero Chapter 4! I REALLY enjoyed this chapter, and i hope you did as well! i think that THAT SCENE with Belle and Wise really showed us the heart and soul of Zenless Zone Zero for the first time, and i think that most players who make it that far will never ever let this game go. The world and lore of the game will never be the same from now on, and i can't wait to see what's next!
I'm glad to be able to check out the VODs after I play through the game myself. I know this game already has the usual tropes of fan service in anime history, but to have this level of storytelling, character development and world building in a gacha game is always beyond cool. But also seeing everyone's reactions like you Robin to the story is also why I enjoy them.
Caesar was so cool, I love her anime protagonist vibe like Luffy or Goku but then she has a hidden romantic side and loves rom-coms and shoujo manga xD
@@RobinOsiria Honestly all of the characters in the Sons of Calydon are really cute and had more depth than I think most of the 1.0 characters did. Burnice and Piper were probably the least fleshed out, but I know we're getting an agent story for Burnice so she'll probably get more development then! But like Caesar had several layers between her love of fighting and danger, struggling with the responsibility of being a leader and realizing it's about more than just strength, and her love of more girly things Lucy had a bunch of layers with being a rich city girl trying to find a life she could earn for herself, and her bickering with Caesar as she tried to hide how much she cared, as well as basically being the brains of the whole gang xD And Lighter got some cool lore teased for him with his maybe darker past in the Ember Arena and trying to move on and be a better person now that he's found a leader and family worth following and sticking around with :3 The only other faction/characters that had as much depth were Belobog. With the whole story with Koleda and her dad. She had similar development to Caesar, albeit a bit different, with struggling to grow into the leadership role suddenly thrust on her when her dad left and she had to take over the company
To think I only got this game cause the fighting looked cool and the characters were attractive. The story this game is telling surprised me. First Koleda and her father's story, then Caesar's sacrifice and finally Wise and Belle's sneak peek into their past have moved me emotionally. I love these times when I stumble upon good stories where I least expect them.
@@ReiseLukas I’m so glad you’re enjoying it too! I will also admit I wasn’t sure if I had the appetite for another big story, and sometimes had difficulties finding the stakes in a smaller-scale story like this. But now that I understand what we’re doing here… I’m 100% all in.
@@RobinOsiria Yeah, I love good stories but finding them is easier said than done. Most of my favorite stories I found at random places where I wasn't expecting them to be. I used to play Genshin and that game's story did not capture me, so my experience in ZZZ even before Chapter 4 was already better than Genshin. ZZZ's story started slow but now that it's become clear I want to see that story to the end.
how do we make him believe us about our teacher, so he can make an exception. there is no prediction for the future because the future is unpredictable and this may happen but who knows for sure😅
I already commented this but Im always on the side that the EN dub shouldnt translate the honorifics, specially in parts like this, many changes or localizations here just dont make sense, change the meaning or make the players confuse about their relationship or just weird how they call others, like how Caesar calls Oyaji the Boar thiren because he was the old boss and he is like a parent to her, its translation should be more like father, old man or pops its like refering to someone old or like a parent figure I dont undestand why use Big Daddy, when Billy calls Caesar Anego its not just Big Sis it refers to her like that because she is the boss of the gang and its a familar but respectful form to call her like that plus Caesar just dont call Billy little bro, she uses Billy-no-ji and that is like a half-rude variation on “-san” like halfway honorific and no one, is less diminutive like they are familiar but are casual about it, and Ligther calls Billy Paisen not just brother, yeah it can be that but its more meningfull because its like the informal form to refer to a sempai, its more familiar and less formal like they are friends but Billy has more exoerience than Lighter, thats why Lighter respects Billy and wants to fight him. its the same in CN but as I dont know so much about it I cant explain it
