I agree with everything you said, but mine does not twist up. This is the second pencil I thought of it, and neither have posted up. So I’ve ended up just using my sharpener to sharpen through the hard exterior. Which is not ideal as it is not made for that. It leaves jagged edges and what not. Have you had problems with this as well?
First, I apologize for my late reply. Hey, welcome :) . This is a pencil that needs to be sharpened, it's not an automatic pencil. Mine sharpens easily, but I would rather the automatic pencil. When the product has to be sharpened, you lose some product when sharpening.
