Loreena McKennitt performs Live at Zoomer Hall 

30 years later and her voice is still absolutely flawless. Wow.

One of the greatest voices of our time in my opinion.

I find it incredibly difficult to believe Loreena's only sold 14,000,000 albums worldwide, That should be BILLIONS. She is an absolute treasure like no other. And her "band" members are incredible, to boot!

My wife and I had waited years for Loreena to come to our area. A few months ago we saw her in Grand Rapids MI and it was definitely worth the wait. It was a magical evening of blissful music.

Something in her music wakes up and calms my soul at the same time. Thirty years later. It still does... 🎶 🌹🦋

There is nobody in the world who sounds quite like Loreena McKennitt. I'm glad she's still making this sound that is uniquely hers.

Just "dropped in" to listen to a few minutes of this RU-vid and ended up watching the whole concert so mesmerized was I by Loreena's music and voice - I love her energy, her charisma and her modesty . . . WHAT a VOICE that has stayed steady, haunting and spectacularly unique and lovely over the decades !!!

1998 Berkeley CA. Is where I discovered Loreena. The Mummers Dance. Extraordinary I loved her then. I love her now. And to see her violinist is still with her. Dedication.

Who the heck can give 12 thumbs down to one of the greatest voices and musician who sends your soul into another world. I've seen her three times in Toronto.

In July 1998, McKennitt's fiancé Ronald Rees, his brother Richard, and their close friend Gregory Cook drowned in a boating accident on Georgian Bay. She was deeply affected by the event, and she founded the Cook-Rees Memorial Fund for Water Search and Safety in the same year. At the time of the incident, she was working on a live album of two performances called Live in Paris and Toronto. The proceeds from this album were donated to the newly created memorial fund, totaling some three million dollars. After the release of the live album, McKennitt decided that she would substantially reduce the number of her public performances, and she did not release any new recordings until the studio album An Ancient Muse in 2006.

Came to my city just a few months ago. I was working the night of the concert and passed by the venue to see if her bus was in the parking lot and it was. I didn't disturb her or her band but there was a man up that I could see through the front windshield. Anyway she is a magnificent musician and her songs are off the charts with feeling. A beautiful soul that I have been blessed to discover. This is a thoroughly delightful concert by Loreena and. here great musicians, I was also happily surprised to learn the focus of her non-musical interests. The concert was enhanced by the announcer who artfully focused his comment on the music and the musicians. Well done by all ! ! !

Sa musique et sa voix captivantes ont emmené son public dans une autre dimension, les touchant au plus profond de leur âme. Il est difficile de retenir ses larmes, tant les émotions vous envahissent. J'avais choisi que DANTE'S PRAYER accompagne ma chère mère lors de son départ. Loreena l'a chanté hier soir lors d'un bis. Je n'ai pas pu retenir mes larmes.
