@@oooh19 her intentions, of course was to work out to lose her belly after she had Rory. It's typical Lorelai. It's ironic that she gets a gym card but is too fat , she thinks ,to go work out. Yes. She doesn't want people to see her fat. Everyone else is working out for similar issues. I think it's a FUNNY situation they wrote about that. Luke didn't show any surprise that she would do that.

He never used the Philips head screwdriver or the open end wrench. There's nothing that would require either down where they are, but maybe in the bell tower it could be useful. But in his defense, Lorelei is a beautiful distraction. I wouldn't be able to concentrate either.
With all the inconsistencies in this show, not sure which one to lean on. I mean, he DOES have two toolboxes, since we see him with a gray one before AND after this. But that could mean he took one to Nicole's and left the other at his apartment. But he doesn't say that.
