Another Blackmore's Night male nightcore, I simply love this group and their music :D Disclaimer: Loreley = Blackmore's Night Picture = img03.deviantar...
For all those interested this is the original ballad written by Brentano about the Lore Lay (it's in German of course): Für alle die Interesse haben, hier ist die original Ballade von Brentano (in Deutsch natürlich): de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lore_Lay
Truth be told, I had no idea who the character was when I first saw the picture. I came for the song. I didn't even know about Hetalia until years after I first watched this. Had this song on my playlist and it didn't hit me until after I watched Hetalia.
I love finding smaller gorgeous RU-vid channels and watching as they grow up. But it's pretty sad for the old subscribers when the audience is bigger and bigger and your personal relation with the author is started to disappear 😭
Lyrics: Merrily we sailed along Though the waves were plenty strong Down the twisting river Rhine Following a song Legend's faded storyline Tried to warn us all Oh, they called her "Loreley" Careful or you'll fall. Oh, the stories we were told Quite a vision to behold Mysteries of the seas in her eyes of gold Laying on the silver stone, such a lonely sight Barnacles become a throne, my poor Loreley 2x And the winds would cry, and many men would die And all the waves would bow down to the Loreley You would not believe your eyes, how a voice could hypnotize Promises are only lies from Loreley In a shade of mossy green, seashell in her hand She was born the river queen, ne'er to grace the land 2x And the winds would cry, and many men would die And all the waves would bow down to the Loreley Oh, the song of Loreley Charms the moon right from the sky She will get inside your mind, loveley Loreley When she cries "Be with me until the end of time" You know you will ever be with your Loreley 4x And the winds would cry, and many men would die And all the waves would bow down to the Loreley
omg, so I found this video on the weekend and have been listening to it over and over because it's super catchy and you did a wonderful job with the male voice, and in the newspaper crossword today one of the clues was "Rhine nymph"! Weird that the band decided to spell it Loreley and not Lorelei, had to erase the Y to make it fit with the "I" in "basis", lol. But yeah what a crazy coincidence. Would be in many papers across North America today. Anyways, thanks for uploading (and for helping with my crossword xD), great work. :)
the song is surrounds a legend surrounding a rock formation landmark in the Rhine river of germany, with the rock and female of lore surrounding it being called lorelei a german name having etymology in alluring, temptress. Been there myself I think before I found the song on youtube, beautiful scenery.
I know, but I couldn't quite find a fitting image of Germany, I was considering using a picture Prussia, but then I saw this picture I decided to use it.

For anyone wanting to know the story: Once out of sadness a beautiful woman named Lorelei, through herself into the Rhine river after her lover was unfaithful, and turned into a siren, she sad on her rock and would sing louring fishing boats and ships, they would then crash into the rock she sat on. she was captured and convicted of witchcraft and murder, the people threw her off a cliff and there, she fell to her death. her name was also spelled Loreley, Lorelai, and Loreali
My mom Told me when I was little that this tale came from the fact that a lot of boads actually sank in this part of the river rhine called "Loreley felsen" because current of the river is really strong there and its just dangerous in general. Also: I just rememberd there is a german song about Loreley. I only remember the lyrics about her being a siren and brushing her hair and other muderous demon-mermaid stuf
@@animefangirl3949 It's an old legend about the river that some people decided to write down years later which is why there's so many conflicting stories and tales

Omg There is in my English class book this song as some literature... Bad English sorry But this song is about Loreley it kills all men and destroy their ships The poet is sad by this and he writes a story of her/ Loreley
This video was in my recommendations and I, for some reason, wasn't expecting Blackmore's Night even though this is one of my favorite songs by them. I just figured it was a different Loreley for some reason. Needless to say I was very surprised and very pleasantly so! You did a great job on this!
Same... The reason why gender swapped versions are usually nightcore is because by speeding up the music the creator can even the awkwardness of the lower pitch just a little. I usually lower the pitch of a song twice and then speed it up to where it sounds most natural.
I'm glad you like it! Not going to lie, when your comment popped up in my notification all I could see was "Dude, this sounds like s..." I was expecting a completely different comment, thanks for the laugh 😂
Other than Blackmore's Night, I would recommend artists like Oonagh and Omnia. But if you generally search of celtic or folk songs, you should find similar music!
I know Loreley as a name, I haven't heard of it as 'murmuring rock'. But the story of the song follows the German folktale 'Lorelei' which is about a mermaid/siren which sits atop a rock by the Rhein and lures sailors to their death.
Not gonna lie I turned this on not Knowing what to expect, anyway I turned it on for chores and as soon as it started the charisma made me start dancing I had no control it was strange I couldn't hear the words because I was to far away but I could hear the beat and it kept me dancing. Wonderful
I think I'm the only one who came for the song. The comments are full of people talking about England. I must admit I have never seen Hetalia, so I don't know who England is.
That may well be! I will admit I was hoping to introduce this lovely song by utilising something more well known, as it really does deserve more recognition (and it fits well to this version of England). If you are curious, Hetalia is a historical, comedy anime that consists of 4 minute shorts depicting personified countries in different times of world history. These personified countries have personalities based on exaggerated stereotypes (e.g. a very strict and proper Germany or a very flirtatious France).
1 Corinthians 15 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV) 15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Is it bad I danced like an Irish to this even though I've never learned to dance like that? I just can't help it with this song- 😂 My dad was in the basement and he thought there was an elephant upstairs oops-
Song gets 10x better when you find out loreley is a type of water spirit. I thought loreley was a lady in some sort of myth at first they were talking about.
