She’s an amazing woman. She didn’t scream at her or freak out on her, she just wanted to see her grandkids. She’s an honourable woman. It’s horrible that she had to go through all of this.
My heart hurts so much for the grandmother. For her to loose her son and have to fight to see her grandchildren is horrible. Sending many prayers and love to her and her family healing and happiness together.
To be honest with you , if I was the grandmother I would not beg her to see then I would not give a fuck either way because those kids are old enough , to know if they want to see her, the mama in jail so ain’t no way she can stop them , if they want to see their grandmother ! Lorenzen’s mother may just be the sweetest person I’ve seen in a long time and so wise under the circumstances. She is able to see past her feelings for her son’s killers to get what she wants by having relationships with her grandchildren.
I remember an interview the mom gave & she said she prays that before she dies, her son murderer(s) would be caught... I believe the Lord heard her cries...
Also he was well lived by that city and the cold case detectives would not let it go ....there were a lot of mistakes made ... Living proof that just because you can have children, doesn't mean you deserve them, she's a perfect example of why in many cases when parents go there separate ways, the mothers shouldn't automatically get residential custody of the children. RIP Lorenzen Wright.

The fact that she can acknowledge that she doesn't have her son anymore because someone else cut his life short. She still showed peace harmony towards her son killer and still wants a relationship with her grandkids is amazing.
The grandbabies will always know their grandmother loved them more than she disliked their mother. And after listening to that 2nd husband it also seems like she really hated Lorenzo mother, I guess because that mom could see through her narcissism in her, while she was fooling others.

She gave him her all. 7 children (6 living), he had a woman in every city, kicked her ass, verbally abused her, blew all of their money, lost their properties, and ultimately lost every dime. She didn’t get a return on “her investment.” She was BITTTTTTTER and ANNNNNGRY! Ultimately they divorced and he moved on while she was stuck with 6 kids and broke. Her final act was cashing out on the remaining cash which was his life insurance. She couldn’t let it go. Such a sad ending for everyone involved. No self control!
