Couldn't find it on Netflix last year either (I'm in Germany, sometimes accessibility on various websites is different between countries) but it was on Amazon Prime afair. I actually learned about it after watching Cursed which fascinated me with the character of The Weeping Monk and youtube was like "so here's the actor who played it", lol.

@@barbarablue2571 Actually, the show portrayed Lorenzo as very different from Cosimo. He was with Lucrezia for years. When he married Clarice, he didn't know her at first. It was realistic that he wasn't going to cut his ties with Lucrezia right away. But when he saw that it hurt Clarice, he broke it very off quickly with Lucrezia and admitted that he has been a "fool." In S3, his ex was more of a plot point for his plan. He easily could have slept with her. But he didn't. He stopped it. Cosimo literally brought his mistress to his home right in front of his wife and everyone. He humiliated her. In comparison, Lorenzo genuinely loved and respected Clarice, he would never do that to her....I'm honestly confused as to how anyone can say that Lorenzo is like Cosimo.

@@leam7018 The new season should be released sometime later this month in Italy. So probably sometime in the new year will be available in English.

@Tasnima 123 Yes, it's an English show but also Italish. Half of cast is Italish and story is about Italian historical family, so that's why it's in Italy first. But now it's available in English too.

Add in Bradley James who played King Arthur in Merlin who is now acting as Daniel Sharman’s brother in the Medici series. I was supper excited when Bradly appeared on screen and definitely sealed the decision for me of watching or not watching the series.
