Lori is the sharkest shark on this show.....she brings out the golden ticket whenever there is a deal she doesn't want to lose.....and it works because it makes the entrepreneur feel highly desirable and valued.....a brilliant psychological move. [Edited addition-> I see many of you saying she gave them exactly what they asked for. Listen, the sharks are not idiots. They only accept what you offering them when its already too good to be true...therefore they okay giving you exactly that. That means the power of negotiating rests with the entrepreneur and they could get them to make a deal at a lower point but it seems like the entrepreneurs are too scared to even think about that. It’s fantastic marketing but it’s not a cheap trick. When she uses it she gives the entrepreneur exactly what they’re asking for which the other sharks aren’t doing. You make the owner feel special and they get the deal they asked to have. Almost always going to be the best offer outside of a team of sharks and/or another shark being an expert in the field of the product. Not a bad idea if you want one of the investments bad enough to fend the others off

Lori is very smart with her deals ... After having seen so many episode of Lori's investment, its clear most of the her investment is on day today life used product which is very smart for example Scrub Daddy and Fry Wall. Even investing on SwiftPaw was also very smart decision bc nowadays having a pet is trend and owners would go any extend to nurture their pet. I don't understand why other sharks make faces when she believes in product and offer her golden ticket. After watching so many episodes I think Lori is the smartest one but doesn't show it, she exactly knows the potential of a product.

For Souper Cubes, I understand why Mark is out. He knows when to get in and when to stay away. He knows he can make money with it but he is not the right person for the job.

I think Souper cubes may be the most well put together business to have been on the show. They had amazing numbers, perfect creators and it solved a problem.
