Imagine if Lorna met Wanda and Pietro when she was younger, and found out they're her half siblings since they have the same father. Maybe things would've been different as she grew.

Yeah, but there's a mistake... On the first episode of season 1, when Reed has Lorna's papers, you can see her age and date of birth. At that time, -according to that paper- she's 28. And then she said her father gave her the medallion when she was 13, and that flashback says "12 years ago" so 13 12= 25, doesn't fit? Also in those papers, it said she was born on March 17th 1988. So if the show is stablished in 2018, she should be 30...

And even after she grew up, she still clung to her old fashion style and it suits her very well, it makes her look even younger than she really is, in the show she's currently 28 years old and she looks like 21-23 years old

+Alexander Platypus She actually has attitude and not jut a shy girl who let's everyone mess with her. Honestly, now that I think about it, Lorna never really belonged to the Underground, I think the only reason she joined them was because she was found first by Elizabeth Whedon and she convinced Lorna of joining the Underground and because Lorna probably had spent many years locked up in that asylum and she just wanted a way out and Elizabeth offered Lorna that option, if you think about this deeply, there's no other way to explain why Lorna spent many years stuck with people who didn't believe in defying humanity to achieve the goal of mutant freedom and usually were too forgiving for their own good with their enemies

+Alexander Platypus Honestly, Evangeline doesn't make it easy to like her since she has never actually helped the team she created and it has been always her subordinates the ones who have had to solve all of their problems, it's true that Marcos and John are acting like cowards but if there's someone worse than them, that would be Evangeline, she always chooses the easy way to "take care of" the problems. It's easy to give orders from the distance than being directly and actively in the middle of the fighting and the constant deaths and blood shedding

All of magnetos children have suffered one way or another Lorna has mental health problems while suffering from accidentally killing her mother and step father in the comics but one thing Erik did now I don’t know if it was a good thing as such but her powers manifested at a very young age on a plane worst possible time while her parents were arguing and magneto felt her power and came to her aid straight away but wiped her memory of killing her mother even by accident

I've never thought about that, I always assumed Lorna chose "Polaris" as her mutant/code name because that word is also related to magnetism or with magnets but maybe I should do a little research to know more about this "North Star"

+Reaction Polaris These lights are known as Aurora Borealis or Polar Lights, that could be maybe another reason why Lorna picked up "Polaris" as her mutant/code name. In episode "eXodus" when Lorna held Marcos' hand while using her powers, hers and Marcos' lights formed something similar to these Aurora Borealis, Northern Lights or Polar Lights

I think the same, to me Erik was hidden behind a tree or something, he was watching what Lorna's reaction would be like and I think Magneto has never taken care of Lorna directly because with that lifestyle he has: running away from humans who want him dead, fighting and constantly risking his life for the mutant cause and other things, he simply couldn't be the Brotherhood leader and a caring father at the same time, so I think he was always watching Lorna from the distance to make sure she was fine, healthy, nourished and loved but he couldn't intervene directly in Lorna's life unless the situation demanded it, like that flashback where we saw Lorna being put in jail after she crashed thy guy's car in the bar or when Erik freed Lorna from the asylum and made that mysterious call

I'm happy Lorna's mother accepted her daughter even knowing that Lorna was a mutant but I don't agree with Lorna's mom encouraging her to hide away her powers and while many fans may say that it's safer for Lorna to hide her powers, she's done nothing wrong with them and she didn't ask to be born like that, she always felt producers of her powers and that's what I love the most about Polaris, she was never a shame of who and what she was, she always embraced her mutation as part of her and like Lorna, many other mutants should also embrace their powers instead of letting their families, their society, their "friends" embarrass them and make them feel bad about their powers, I still like Lorna's mother as a minor character and someone who, like Caitlin with Andy and Lauren, never rejected Lorna because she was a mutant, she always embraced and accepted her daughter the way she was, the only problem I have with Lorna's mom is the woman encouraging Lorna to hide her powers.

+Alexander Platypus She doesn't seem a bad character, from what I see Lorna's mother is one of the few humans who accepted a mutant sibling without rejecting the person for being different and I admire thy from her but it annoys me that she encourages Lorna to hide her mutation as though is some disease or something, I think the woman cares too much about what others will say about her daughter but encouraging mutants to hide like the Underground does it's not good, it just fuels the already powerful oppression humans have over mutants

The reason this show made waves was the progress made through Lorna. She is this show. Blink just says one liners and John is this Captain America do gooders. Lauren Strucker has became interesting though.

I doubt Wanda will ever appear in this series and the same for Quicksilver, I don't Imagine them in this show since most of the time, they're reserved for movies and the Scarlet Witch currently belongs to the MCU, at least her live-action appearances and if Wanda appears in The Gifted, that means the show would merge the Marvel/FOX universe with the MCU and last time I checked, in the MCU the X-Men don't exist due to something related to owner rights, Disney and Marvel Studios own everything related to the Avengers and Wanda is part of the Avengers while FOX/ Marvel owns the X-Men franchise

Alexander Platypus ahhh is that why they’re not directly naming him? This is actually a really smart way to hint that he’s somehow involved. Like it doesn’t go over the ‘legal’ line but it still gives us enough that we can assume they’re talking about Magneto.

To me, Ms. Dane is either Suzanne or Arnold's sister since apparently in the comics, Lorna is raised by Arnold's sister but given that Arnold didn't exactly like Lorna since she was the result of an affair his wife had with another man, it's more likely that the woman is actually Suzanne's sister but how did Magneto knew about her is the big question here, unless Suzanne mentioned to Magneto that she had a sister is the only way to explain how Erik knew about Ms. Dane and that he could trust her despite the woman being human

Shes barely been in the show..they focus on the Struckers and the hate groups most this season. Lorna and Esme are becoming close...that's been her trek. Now she understands why Magneto does what he does and she had to bring it full circle last night with her daughter.

Because in this season Lorna is supposed to discover more things about her past, she already knows who her father truly is and she could finally understand why her father left her when she was a baby instead of staying with her and raising her because she had to do he same for Dawn and it would be selfish to drag the people you love the most in your problems. Magneto's life wasn't meant to raise children or have a family, he can't be the Brotherhood leader and a caring father all the same, Lorna hated Erik for leaving her but she would have hated him more if Erik had raised Lorna in the environment he was constantly surrounded in because a man whose cause involves fighting constantly, risking always his life in favor of the protection of all mutants and running away from the human authorities that want him in jail or dead can't have or raise children and pretend those children will be safe, that's why he left Lorna and that's why Lorna is doing the same for Dawn
