Immortal is definitely my favorite album, and not just because I've spent a good amount of time trying to learn the songs from the album. Its seriously amazing to listen to all the way through, banger of a song after banger and they all stand solid on their own.
Adam's tremolo riffs starting from Immortal up to their most recent album Pain Remains kinda blend in the orchestra which can be very hard to learn by ear. Your riff compilation made it much easier to discern his riffs closely.
Awesome video, dude. How you displayed the riff progression of LS over the years is super awesome, and this video deserves WAY more views than it has. 🤘
DUDE. Thank YOU so much for watching and for the kind words! It was a lot of fun to do (albeit exhausting in terms of getting every detail LS add to their songs). It seems like the video has been picking up the pace lately, so hopefully more people will find it and enjoy it!
I was looking for some Lorna Shore playthroughs and your compilation video is one of the first suggestions. Sick work dude, some of those riffs are crazy technical, delighted to hear so many black metal style tremolo riffs in 2022.
Man that Into the Earth riff just makes my jaw drop. Almost Frantic Disembowelment level. Adam is the man. His songwriting is next level compared to so many of his contemporaries in deathcore (a genre as a black metal dude isn't always my favorite).
Thanks! Tbh I really enjoy Lorna’s melodies, but yeah, most of their technical riffs are pretty hard. Specially since most of them are all down picking.
@@jojoplaysmusic Yeah Lorna's melodies are the best and yeah down picking those riffs not many can do that. Even "cheating" with alternate picking is very very hard
My favorite album with Tom is Psalms, it just feels so gritty and sludgy and dark, it's perfection. I don't like immortal, specially CJ as the vocalist for Lorna Shore, he felt more as a Slam Vocalist not a Deathcore vocalist, but instrumentally is top tier as Always. And now with Will, Pain Remains is godly return to form and that trilogy is so good and powerful, also soulless existence reminds me a lot of that black metal influence. Adam is a monster he kept the band alive for so long and now it's getting to reap what he sowed, with Austin, Connor, Mike and Will this line up is flawless and can't wait to see how they evolve.
I love Flesh Coffin, simply because I find myself in the album. But everything they made with Tom was pleasing as hell to me. CJ, for me, dropped down the lyrical quality, which was what I loved in Lorna with Tom. Will is outstanding, I won't add else. Long live Lorna Shore.
@@tose5566 Oh yeah, of course, for me CJ never fitted into deathcore his vocals specially lows always went better with Slam and something more sludgy and not so symphonic... Like Old SOTS, he was perfect in, plus the album never grabbed me musically... But hey, opinions are different, me not liking it, doesnt mean shit, its just my view...
@@The_KlaVra His work with Signs of the Swarm is amazing. I think I agree with that, what he lacks in range he makes up for in brutality and top tier lows. The disfigurement of existence is a better album at least vocally than Immortal imo. But you're right we are just two youtube commentators lol
@@tose5566 Exactly for me The Disfigurement of Existence feels like everybody knew the genre and what they wanted to do, plus they we all close friends... Adam said in recent interviews that there wasnt much connection with CJ, so I think that also adds to my feeling of the album not feeling so cohesive.. Look now at Lorna with Will, everybody is laughing, cracking jokes, smiling, it feels like a well oiled machine that finally after years, finally started working again.. Also, must add, I hope you, random youtube comment person have a lovely day and a beautiful start to the year.. A hello from Argentina.
Super great playing man. Their new stuff is amazing. Adam is super talented and when I've read more about him. I appreciate him as a person even more. I am so happy of their success. Listening to Lorna since Immortal album. I've even been to their only live show in Poland which was this summer. I showed a heart with my hands to Adam before they've started playing and he showed me that back. That was a super big moment for me. I am so happy seeing Lorna Shore getting so big. My favourite deathcore band right now. I've even painted my own backpatch of their logo on my jacket.
Hey thank you so much for the kind words! IF YOU WANT TO you could share the video with people who might like it. It would help me a lot and I would really appreciate it.
pain remains in DEFINITELY my album of the year. almost ALL of the songs on this album are just amazing. sun eater tho is my favorite, that riff is amazing
I think, I have to check out Lorna Shore now. I always thought that they are some generic Deathcore Band, but quite a few songs you played sound killer. Also that is a sick 8 string 🎸🤘 greetings from Lotasticland
Awsome video 🙂🤘 and amazing job on the Into The Earth riffs (not easy to play because how fast it is). I also like how you nail the Pain Remains I : Dancing Like Flames riffs (melodic, sad and beautiful). I already lost count how much I listen the whole album Pain Remains.
yay 8 string is back, but now it's kinda other Legator that was there last time and about Lorna Shore.. yes, their last releases are cool but I still think their best work is Bone Kingdom, such a banger EP
I guess the production in that EP just kinda turns me off. And all the 8 strings I’ve borrow from my friend of the band Last Breath, which all of those guys are Legator artists, so there you go.
Thank you so much man! If you want to, you could haré share the video with people that might like it. It would help me a lot and I’d really appreciate it.
I can only hate Adam’s playing for how unbelievably advanced and perfect his technique is because I’ll never get there. The fact that the verses usually skip 3 strings at the pace he plays at is bs in itself.
I wish they mixed the chorus of and I return to nothingness like you did, i find myself coming back to this video over and over again to hear your version. 👍
