This is way better than twighlight. Twighlight never had me so enthralled. I like the characters they chose for outlander. They are better than I envisioned. Catriona Balfe and Sam Heugan have way more chemistry and acting skills than the characters of twighlight, and they're so humble when they do an interview they both melt my heart.
I don't think Lorraine meant that the Twilight movie series is as good as the Outlander tv series ... all she meant was that the fans of the books are rabid, and eager to see their books set to screen. Which is true, although Outlander is a true historical fiction series of novels geared to educated adults, whereas Twilight are fantasy vampire/werewolf fiction geared to young adult females.
Yeah! The Twilight Books were great and the film's just left me deflated. They could have stretched the books out into a series, like Outlander, and gotten a better lead actress.
The only thing they have in common is Thrones is 100% SciFi\fantasy & Outlander has .33333 supernatural (3 mins of 3 seasons). I dislike Thrones bc there is nothing historical or supernatural in it or references to either. I tried, over & over, but it's closer to Godzilla & MAYBE 2 people still alive WHO CAN ACT! Writing sucks, too!
What a lovely show, the host brought a nice low key feel to it. Sometimes when two or more professional hosts interview, they miss the point of why I’m watching of which is to hear a real life conversation from someone I am interested in. I usually dont enjoy enduring comedy antics or too many people talking at once, that often happens in other shows. I’ll have to check it out more.
I think the target audience for Twilight is teenage and early 20s so no it didn’t grab me the way these books did, and I almost didn’t want to watch since I’d read the books...what a mistake I almost made! Seeing the finished product is a treat for the eyes and ears. To look at the beautiful show with terrific actors in the lilting Scottish accent knowing it’s historically accurate is way better than a history class!
He has a high forehead because of his obvious partial Viking bloodline (the Vikings raided Scotland for several centuries). He has the look of many Scots with this mix (larger forehead and build).
......OK I'm going to say it....and it breaks my heart to utter the very words...but I think he is going.....bald....well maybe not bald but thinning on top...sob sob.
kickthespike his hairline looks just the same now as it did about 5 years ago. I think because his blonde roots were coming in it looks like there's less hair, plus he just has a naturally high forehead.
I mean he's what... 35 now? I wouldn't be surprised if his hair was thinning a little bit. However, I'm Scottish and I have a very high forehead as well. Not an uncommon trait among the Scots, from what I've seen.... but on men it can be easily mistaken for balding, especially on those with already thin hair.
mxtf716 Yeh, I do think he just has quite a high hairline and you can definitely see his natural blonde roots coming through too, but am sure it will have been re-dyed by now for shooting season 2.
Once again, look at photos from 10-15 years ago. His hairline has not changed. It is just naturally high, and when his blonde roots come in it looks higher, that's all.
@@stevierae6561 i know but i usually only hear her english accent . . not too familiar with irish accent...that sounds more scottish accent to me hehe
