Sounds like that department has problems and should be investigated. These sheriffs departments and their detective tactics invade rights and break laws, even cause harm. A uniform and a badge is a gateway towards corruption. It is abound. The shooter could have been an innocent victim and law abiding until they were pushed. Ive seen it and also have lived it. There are chiefs policies and directions that put their entire department at risk of random retaliation because their is no recourse to correct it. Judges play along with it

I live around the corner from that sheriff's station when i got back home today I heard the news and I said thats sad someones son , husband , adopted son died , this shows how nobody has the heart to let people live in peace. as an 11 year old I can't tell what i want to do for my future.
I’m not for anyone getting killed however the cops of today do this daily (and have been for a long time) and get away with it; innocent people get murdered by police all the time, then the department investigates itself and finds no wrongdoing occurred.

Its also sad when a cop shoots a driver 8 seconds after initiating a stop. An 18 yr old boy never got his chance to be a cop, EVER. The cop got PAID ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE pending investigation. Now why does he keep getting paid? But when one of them is killed, its an hour long press conference about how hard he worked. They're both sad, tragic losses. But one is handled fairly while the other one favors the cop. This is just one reason cops are so hated.
@@johndoughenbro7719 I think all we are trying to say is that we don't want to jump to any conclusions. All possibilities need to be examined. After all, whenever a husband or wife is murdered, the spouse is the first suspect that the authorities investigate. Why should this be any different?
I've said it before and I'm saying it again, police officers are everyday soldiers who courageously go to work at a dangerous job to maintain safety and security in our communities. My respect and gratitude to this officer and all the rest, God bless.

@@1104ray there’s a video circling already where it shows the deputy sitting at the light just outside the sheriff’s station and some random car pulls up and stops for a few seconds, and then it speeds off shortly afterwards. It’s too early to know all those details, which eventually will come to light in the hours to come.
