Keep grinding little homie! It’s almost time to slay halibuts! We need to link up for the bonito runs in the summer, we kick it old school with a bubble rig.

@@alf9638 I guess I got to get that’s one good day to blow away all the bad thoughts and memories of me struggling the past couple months out on surf I still never caught one off the shore I can’t wait thanks for the hope to continue trying 👍
Grew up in Echo Park. Lived up on the hill above it on Kensington Ave. Graduated from Belmont High School. Glad it has improved because in the 1970s, the place sucked. Just a shit hole of crime, graffiti, shopping carts, and car tires in the lake, winos passed out in the grass or in that building. But i caught my first fish there, a blue gill. Lots of old black guys catching plenty of cat fish. But most of the time, it was snags and rocks.
Oh cool that’s sweet, they definitely cleaned it up like crazy, they redid all the plants kicked out all the homeless and locked it up at night, they definitely did a great job 🤙
Thanks 😊 I believe you’re referring to MacArthur park where we caught all those carp, that’s a really easy way to get on some fish, and ya I use a GoPro on my chest, hopefully you have some good luck out there 🤙
For largemouth bass I use Roboworm on a drop shot rig for carp I use tortilla on a small hook at the piers I use sabiki rig size 8 for spotted bay bass I usually use swimbaits on the bottom by the rocks hopefully this helps good luck out there 👍
