This is a cool old history video about the San Joaquin River and the Big Creek Hydroelectric facility in the Sierras some 56 miles NE of Fresno. The Big Creek Hydroelectric facility provides the lion-share of power for Southern California. This system includes, Huntington Lake, Shaver Lake, Edison Lake, Florence Lake, the San Joaquin River just to name a few. What I call the death of the SJR.
