Yup, the island is very interesting, and a lot of grest views is there, but, unfortunatly, 95% of Tenrife's island air space is closed for drones, mostly due to national parks regulations.
*Wonderful coastal footage! 👍👍I see in your comment below that most of the island is off-limits to drones. Is there a process you could go through to get temporary permission to fly? We have that option here, in the USA, for most places with restricted airspace. And, it can be done through an app.*
In Tenerife I used their Enaire (Spain) application, where you can see restrictions zones. When you select a zone on the map, the organization responsible for this zone and contacts appear. But I didn't try to contact anyone, I think it took a long time. For example in Latvia it took 3-5 working days to get any answer on your request.
@@comeflywithmeie 3-5 days is okay if you can plan ahead. But, it is hard to know if the weather will be okay. With my app I can approval within 10 minutes. But, that may not be the case in other parts of the country.
@@DavidLorenzoFlorida 10 min is incredible. I know that our CAA is preparing an application in which it will be possible quickly compose and coordinate flight plan for drone pilots.
