Darrin Jefferis I’m so sorry for your lost and you tell your granddaughter she can be or do anything grand in this life and that her mommy is in heaven looking down on her and keeping her safe and watching over her every min of the day and it wasn’t her fault that her mommy was sick and she is in a safe and out of pain all love flowing to you and your family 🤟🏻❤️🤟🏻❤️🤟🏻❤️🤟🏻🤟🏻❤️🤟🏻❤️🤟🏻❤️🤟🏻
These lonely boys have what's called "blood harmony" when they sing, like the Everly Brothers, or the BGs, a kind of perfect harmony that only close family members can have. And they are great guitar players. Their sound reminds me of Stevie Ray Vaughn, somehow.
Having Reese Wynans on the keys is truly a blessing for any band, he really helped to fill out the sound on this cut and I'm sure during the entire tour. Sounded great, nice mix! Thanks for the music brothers Garza!
My dad loved this song so much and would always sing it, me and him even went to a los lonely boys concert. Was one of the happiest times I’ve seen my dad, now he’s my angel in heaven. Los lonely boys, my dad enjoyed your music so very much and so do I. Thank you ❤️
Bless you glad you & your father had such a great time together seeing LLB, their great, no question. Lost my dad, then little brother, then mom, than second older brother and so much music we loved. Take care and happiness to you Bless you ❤
My Dad liked LLB very much, too. He surprised me by going to see them play on his own. In McAllen, Texas when he was working there. In 2013, I took Dad to see LLB in Houston on Father's Day. Dad passed away in 2018 and I'm so grateful we got to share that experience 😊🎶🎤🎸🎸🥁🎶🕊💙🙏
Seeing this, I remember living in Pflugerville TX and these fellas lived nearby and would come play in the bar I worked at. Not scheduled, they would just jam together. Nice guys. I remember their father who played with a band "Los Falcones" in the 60's
I've seen them twice. Both times I brought someone who had never heard of them, both times they left as big fans. They're phenomenal live, super talented, so much fun. Waiting for them to return to Vancouver BC Canada.
Wow I used to hear this song in car rides as a kid, and now coming back to it all these years I was just expecting to be taken on a nostalgia joy ride, but instead that crowd part got me choking up haha...
Pure talent... raw power... raw energy... fantastic tunes... fantastic lyrics... unbelievable vocals. Music industry, "yeah but we already got Santana"..............................
This song takes me back to when I had one big happy family. Driving around in the family car listening to this with my folks and my siblings. Now that we're all grown up, doing our own thing, some passed away, this truly brings a tear to my eye. Such a beautiful song. I will hang on to these memories for the rest of my life ❤
One of the reasons we baby boomers love these guys is because they can actually compose an original melody and that's something pretty rare these days and to top it off they can sing and play and even make harmonies ...
Let me put it this way-the lead singer knows his way around a guitar. Song is a prayer that many of us have sung to ourselves. Great riff in the middle of the song. AMEN
These guys are great and grew up Texicans, their father put a tight group of talent together, Henry shreds that guitar and the brothers keep it tight. Love them and and their songs, are all dope. Love you'all as they say your way, keep it going on guys LOVE U❤
🕊❤️❤️🕊When they first came out with this song I couldn’t get enough of this song I played it over and over ❤️Love these Guys❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼God Bless in All that You Do 🕊💙🙏🏼💙🕊❤️🌹🌹❤️🕊
How far is heaven. It's as far as YOU want it to be. You can push it away OR you can draw it closer to you. REPENT while there's still time. Then you can be at the door when our Lord Jesus Christ knocks. This is truly a great band who has their priorities straight. May you all continue to bring these type of songs to a much needy world. 🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇👍
Love it! The greatest compliment I can give is that the first time I heard this song I was convinced Clapton was sitting in on guitar. Even the voice threw me… Since that day I have ravenously devoured their entire catalogue dozens of times and still haven’t had enough!
Vamanos! Save me from this prison Lord, help me get away 'Cause only you can save me now from this misery I've been lost in my own place and I'm getting' weary How far is heaven? And I know that I need to change my ways of livin' How far is heaven? Lord, can you tell me? I've been locked up way too long in this crazy world. How far is heaven? And I just keep on prayin', Lord And just keep on livin'. How far is heaven? Lord, can you tell me? How far is heaven? 'Cause I just got to know how far, yeah? How far is heaven? Lord, can you tell me? [Spanish:] Tú que estás en alto cielo, Échame tu bendición [English translation: [You, who are in high heaven, Send me down your blessing] 'Cause I know there's a better place than this place I'm livin'. How far is heaven? And I just got to have some faith And just keep on giving. How far is heaven? Yeah, Lord, can you tell me? How far is heaven? 'Cause I just gotta know how far, yeah? How far is heaven? Yeah, Lord, can you tell me? how far is heaven? 'Cause I just gotta know how far? I just wanna know how far?
Laurylie Norman I subscribed to you're channel Laurylie and am very disappointed and surprised that you don't have more fans I wish I knew you you are a gem! Sincerely Peter J. Gallagher @pjg1959@icloud.com GOD BLESS YOU!
I had the honor of catching them at Antones on 6th St in Austin. Met them and their folks and a bunch of girls (groupies). It was a heck of a night for great blues. Opening was Gary Clark Jr. and he was so young. The headliner was Lance Lopez from Dallas,Texas. Great night !
This beautiful song song makes me think of my beloved Claudia Ines. Gone fifteen years. I can't wait to see her again on the other side. To Darrin and all who lost a love one you are covered in prayer. Peace
I lost my Son 17 years ago and it feels like the other day😢😢😢😢.Love this song. It reminds me of my Son. When a friend of mind played this song for me and my song at work. Me and my friend worked at school. ❤❤❤❤😢😢😢
I was living in Wimberly, Texas and the were playing at a campground across the Blanco River. I sure enjoyed that night. Oh, sadly they were facing away from us, but they were great!
Damn mean!!!! All these years later this tune and the brothers spark this up no end. Kia Ora from New Zealand brothers....2020 and you still kick ass with this gorgeous energy!
I saw them at cow palace in San Francisco during the 70s. And I never missed that concert ever. Can I adore Carlos Santana? He is one of the most talented guitaristbesides Jimi Hendrix. In this world
