@@dexz7646I believe World Rugby should reduce the number of players in rugby union to just 13 and get rid of the mol, the space and the lack of mols slowing down the game is what makes sevens so entertaining
Years ago we dreamed of participating in the 3 nations. . . Like children in a shop window we saw the 3 giants of the southern hemisphere from our TVs. And now we are part of that dream. It is an honor for us to play against the ABs in rugby seven, even more so if we win. Let everyone know that we came to enrich the best rugby in the world, southern rugby!!!!! (SA AU AB ARG and the islanders FJ & Samoa).
A gradual rise is better than a sudden rise most times....as it is easier to sustain. I've watched you Argentina, in this 7s format....just not giving up. Keep on keeping on. Vamos Argentina!!💪🏾... from South Africa 🇿🇦
Genios!!! La condicion de Catamarca
Los Pumas 7s have worked hard on everything physically and mentally, and always at the exact time and place to win the games. Congratulations to all the players and a special mention for their coach; What he has achieved is impressive. It's a pleasure to see this great team play.
I have noticed over the years , NZ 7s no matter if they are 1 point ahead or 20 right on the hooter , with a penalty to come or not , they just kick it out, game over , not sure why Argentina had to keep going and even try for the conversion after the last try , were they wanting bigger bragging rights , pointless Argentina , kick it out , rather then seek ridiculous glory , its called respecting your opponents , not rub their faces in your Accolades , bad sportsmanship , my opinion only .
I've been surprised by the physical difference between Argentina and, for example, NZ. It's surprised me because in rugby union it's not like this, but here in 7s, Argentina is rocking a phenotype with a higher percentage of muscle mass than the rest of the teams. Just check out the physiques in this final.

I love Argentina rugby they play for each other physical and tough, They got a great sevens squad with lots of depth... Great for Argentina rugby! Go Los Pumas! Bokke Fan
If an average football country were to do what the Argentine sevens team is achieving, they'd call it a 'revolution.' And for me, it really is, or at least close to it if they can keep up this level a bit longer.
Argentina plays rugby since 1899, its a revolution indeed because of the success but for sure its the 2nd most played sport here. Far behind of football but still, there are thousands of rugby clubs across the country. The big difference with other top tier rugby nations its that our clubs are still amateur.
I really hope they can sustain this level (or even improve it, why not?) for the Olympics. A gold medal would be the cherry on top for this team, especially because some of these players already have offers to play in 15 after Paris.
Both teams made some mistakes, I believe the pitch didn't help, but is the same for both of them. Better Argentina taking advantage of AB's errors. Beyond that, Arg is playing great 7's rugby. Hope they can keep it for de Olimpics
Actually Argentina is ranked 1 in both rugby 7s and soccer. In rugby XV we are like 8th or smth like that. We are also 1st in polo since 100 years ago.
In the last summer Olympics, Argentina was one of the 4 countries that qualified the most teams (team sports) for the Olympics along with the USA, France, and Spain. But the difference lies in the enormous budgetary difference that these three countries have compared to Argentina. If Argentina had their economic budgets, it would be brutal.
Actually, it's the only country in history to have won on the same Olympic day (in fact, within hours) the gold medals in both football and basketball, which are the two most recognized team sports in the Olympics.
Beautiful 7s rugby against the previous year champion! 120% Proud of this team and his coach! Watching them play it´s an absolute delight for the eyes! Vamos Pumas 7s Carajo!
A very good game, and they deserved the win. NZ made too many handling errors, and playing the ball while on the ground is a junior school rugby mistake.
NZ n7 brings the opponent to the ground, does not retreat and goes for the ball, penalty for Argentina. One minute later NZ n7 brings the opponent to the ground, does not retreat and goes for the ball, penalty for NZ.
