Im an expat living overseas in Southeast Asia and it makes me laugh every time I hear the “progressive” label. Everything considered “radical” or progressive in American is considered the baseline here. Free college, childcare, elder care, preschool. Paid family leave. Paid leave after a miscarriage or a family death up to 6 months to grieve and handle personal affairs. Universal healthcare. It’s all normal stuff. What we think of as “moderate” is actually considered ultra conservative. Sadly, as a woman, I have more rights here now, so I have decided to stay for the time being. I wish all Americans could live abroad for a while to see what we could have. They would not fear it, they’d demand it. We deserve more.

A huge difference between the Democratic and Republican candidates is whether you'd want to be working in an office with them.
