I have never seen a team look this clueless. I genuinely think g2 had no idea today was supposed to be their game and their opponents were Eternal Fire. Eternal Fire TOOK FULL advantage and just had a total mind map on every single thing each g2 player was gonna do. G2 tactically is so readable that's the message I got from this game, even more read able than hooxi's days.
Niko an co. spent previous days chillin and going to dinners instead analyzing EF. This is the result. Niko thinks he deserved something, he got it then he thinks everything else will come along. Hunter, on the other side, is just so bad Hunter
I think Spunj was spot on when he said - the players seem to be performing well individually when they are faced with 1v X situations . But as a team they are trash who dont seem to have any game plan or goals. I feel for Niko man . Really sad showing from G2. Really hard to watch as a fan . What you just described is the entire meta right now for CS2. The only teams that really seem to understand CS2 at a high level are Spirit and Navi. Everyone else seems pretty lost strategically speaking.
M0nesy's few clutches were incredible, Woxic stil being on fire after ESL XX and Calyx showing better perf + Niko not being on his best day really made things easier for EF. had Niko played better, it could swing either way. and yes, 35:40, EF fans always talk about CS2 re-adding left hand model made Woxic come back stronger than ever. I guess human psyche works in that way, you do better when things are just right
if they barely close 13-4, 13-6 without niko is still bad tbh. not much would change if niko played extra. g2 players bests them individualy but EF is just playing better team play.

When Snax had more kills than Niko, hunter, malbsd combined on a T side on anubis, I knew G2 would be cooked. Classic G2 moment, they can convincingly win a tournament, then lose badly on the next one.
