the biggest problem for edg is they start throwing when they have the lead, it was 7-2, edg threw, then it went to 12-10, edg threw and ended in 12-14, though stellar had a word.exe moment on round 12-11

I was skeptical of China getting two slots at masters, I thought 'do the Chinese teams deserve this? And after watching EDG's game against 100T, I say yes they do. 100T is most probably the Topmost team in NA and they were almost on the verge of being humbled by EDG. With so late in the Valorant scene, Chinese teams have already made a mark internationally. With little more experience and I am sure China will be a formidable region to fear at masters.

100T is not bad. They didn't have the patience for the Chinese team fighting. China puts Gunfight Aim first, Don't really care that much about coordinating abilities.

i dont think 100T is playing bad，i think they still one of the top team of this event. People just underestimate EDG，they plaued well compared to last event.

100T won, but was forced to struggle more than expected. (There was even a possibility of losing) EDG looks really dangerous. They're definitely stronger than last year's Champions team, and should the China region develop, they'll be an even more formidable team.

i hope people realize that edg played like a high level team. it wasn’t 100 thieves playing badly. when it comes down to it, 100 thieves still have a good chance of making it to the semis.

The 100T is honestly not as strong as most people expected. They have strong teamwork, but if they lose one balance, they often throw rounds in a row. Bang & stellar is the only consistent player in the 100T today. The latter three player look too unstable.

Even as a 100T fan, you know what I'm most disappointed about? EDG would've easily won this series if they just had better ability usage. They are all aimbots but their use of abilities are average. I'm in Ascendant and I've seen better ability usage in my lobbies than EDG has. If they learn even half of the playbook of good ability using teams like DRX does, they would easily be one of the strongest teams in the tournament. 100t got through because of luck

Dude. As an NA fan. Edg are fcking nice with it. I've been keeping an eye on Kang kang since their match against PRX at Champs I saw potential in that kid. Zmjjkk is the best player in the world from what I've seen imo.

stellar really stepped it up, being the igl, sentinel, and still fragging out and being much more consistent than everyone but bang. asuna either needs to step it up or they should consider picking up someone else like Trent

The problem with the chinese valorant region is that they rely on aggressive plays and kills to win rounds. With that said, that's not what EDG was - you could see they realised that and played more util/plant wise. It's great they are ready to adapt to the international level, even dropping Life from the roster. But you can see they are not as used to playing post-plant, I can't even count how many times someone just defused the bomb while there were many alive to stop it. If they had planted in the right spot on pearl when it was 12-10 they could've won. But I'm kinda glad they lost this, hopefully it'll help them come back even stronger than before - and don't forget they're already looking like one of the top teams, just not as disciplined.
