Zeuzerman thank you! I was very happy with it. Now, we get to see how it does with the 13.5 change over. with updates like a new motor, ESC, shocks and new rear shock tower.

It was a blast for sure. Shocked at how well it was being all stock too. Working on the 13.5 conversion now. Will have that video up in a week or so. Waiting on one last part.

David, there are a few things to look at and try. But one, if you are still using the stock tires, I too had a hard time getting it to hook up properly. When I went to proline tires, it was a hug help. If staying on stock tires, heat is your friend, I used tire warmers and tire conditioner and prep to help get them softened up even more. once you start getting the car to hook up, you'll end up having to move the battery back forward or you'll pull the wheels up everytime. I cannot recall my exact oil setup, but I changed the shock oil in both the front and rear as well. you may also need to lower the rear ride height.

@@CoachD386 unfortunately I did not. I didn't have any with me that day. I forgot to out some in my tool box. I plan on doing some touchups repair to the body and keep it as a shelf Queen. Nothing a lil buffing and touch-up painting can't fix lol

Tony, Thank you for the support and comment. It can be a very difficult decision for sure. Especially in a market where more and more manufacturers and building drag chassis options from the big box stock builders to the custom Carbon fiber builders. Lots of options for sure. If I were to do it all over again, I honestly believe I would have went the traxxas or associated route for more after market support, weight and a few other reasons. But, this car here is very capable as well with enough work. It is the heaviest of the three box stock options though.

Hey Schara, are you running the stock electronics? I only made one practice day with the stock motor and ESC. Then have been running the 13.5 class since then. I ran the stock gearing that one day and made a few faster passes with another pinion I think I added 4 teeth to the pinion. As far as my 13.5 gearing I'm currently at 72 spur and a 28 pinion. I've been experimenting with the FDR by changing the pinion a little wt a time.

What part do I need to lock it ??

Misfit absolutely lol. I was seeing what others had it set around to get a general idea. That and slowing the speed really helped for corrections if needed. I also raised the body one position but still had some tire/body scrub as well. But that's partially due to me not having any vinyl or protective tape to put inside at the time so I wasn't too worried about that because I know with the stock tires not being belted would balloon a lot more than the Reactions. I appreciate your help and comments very much. This is such a fun car and fun addition to my already extensive RC racing fleet of cars lol.

Mark Anthony give this a try. As long as the servo wasn't stripped from an impact. Set your radio trim back to zero then take off the servo horn, recenter the wheels and slide the horn back on the servo. This should give you a new starting point that will steer left and right as it should. You will still need to trim it. But it shouldn't be full lock one way or another at that point. Give that a try.

David Harris sure no problem at all. I'm running the Futaba 7PXR with a S-FHSS Receiver. I had a Futaba 4PLS I used for many years before that.

@@davidharris7614 thank you. I took some advice from my racing fans and did a bit of radio tuning. It's not as different than dirt oval as I thought lol. Every little bit helps. Chassis tuning, electronics tuning and radio tuning.

RDF I was using a Motive 6000 100C in that video. But since upgraded to the SMC Drag batteries. Which is a 6400 150C 2S battery.

I'm sure it could. It depends on preference, setup etc. The mid motor setups do seem to be more popular now. However, when I first got this there was no direct mid motor conversion available. Could have been done with modification I'm sure. But it wasn't something I wanted to do at the time.

Papito I run the Futaba 7PXR. I see those, the 4PM and the Spektrum pro pretty often.

@@papito9483 awesome! I think you'll really like it. I plan to keep my channel updated on changes and things I learn along the way. I've got 20 plus years in the RC hobby but I'm learning the RC Drag process as well. Having a blast with it too. I appreciate the support as well.

RC Reviews awesome! I'm familiar with it a bit. It's popular in the go cart and dirt oval RC world for rubber tires. But the people I know that use it swear by it lol.
