Hi Jason, I’m a new subscriber to your feeds. Your build on the Losi Super Rock Rey really helped me out!! I followed suit and purchased the entire mod set-up from T-bone racing and with your great video it came together perfectly. Thanks soo much bud! Brian
Did you ever find out where the spacers belong? My gut feeling is under the pumpkin skid plate. It may have just been the camera angle, but the skid plate looked pretty close to the driveshaft.
I just ordered my SRR T-Bone stuff today. I got everything you did short of the shock tower guard. I have the front and rear bumpers, as well as the skidplate on my 3XLe and I really like the protection they have. The only thing I don't like is how easily the screws pulled through the plastic. Was an easy fix though and I bought some 4 mm washers (think they were 4mm) for the screws that pulled through. So far it's held up well that way and how they proved themselves on the 3xle and made me want them for the SRR. Not the best looking, but it protects the RC better than nothing at all.
I think that those spacers would go under the rear skid plate to give the driveshaft a bit more clearance for debris hangups, But, After market parts sometimes do give you optional goodies, That doesn't mean you need to use them, But it is nice that you get them. Thanks for the vid, I just ordered one of these SRR, Happy 4 Wheeling!
Thanks for making this video, have you crashed hard on the rear? I totally see that rear bumper stripping out the screwed that hold the diff housing near the pinion on.
So T-bone racing is completely out of business… Is there anybody else making decent upgrades like bumpers and bottom chassis protectors and the shock tower guard?
