have you had any issues with the shock shafts pulling out, and if so how have you resolved it? i've seen a few people post about this, and i'd like to be pro active with mine.
humble rc happened to my buddies. Mine hasn’t done it and I’ve jumped it hard. But I put droop screws in my a-arms to limit the shocks from over extending. Cheap fix www.ebay.com/itm/163610273098
MultiSkyman1 the Tenacity is designed for smooth dirt and desert style racing. It’s better at speed and handling. It’s very difficult to flip this buggy! Very planted! The Rock Rey is a rock racer. Designed to take some very rough rocks and some speed. But with this mixture it tends to roll over at high speed.
@@krlaturn Thanks for the info. I do have the DBXL E and love it, and need a "loaner rig" for nephew and friends. I could budget for another DBXL, but that big monster could be dangerous for inexperienced drivers at an urban(SF Ca.) beach where I like to buzz around. Maybe regular Tenacity and the DB Pro me?
I'm reaching out to you RU-vid guys to reach out to Hot Racing and see if they will be bringing some new parts to this line up. I have some Hot Racing SCBE parts (Front and rear bearing carriers, caster blocks, steering bulkhead) I would love to have some aluminum diffs. I have emailed Hot Racing and got no response back.
