I like both physical and digital reading, but I've been collecting physical books since I was a child and can't imagine stopping 30 years later. Its such a great feeling adding a print book to your collection. Great video!

I like to read kindle books as a trail too a new author. I feel like I can take more risks on an ebook, if it's an author I like I'm then more likely to get their physical books. Plus kindles just don't smell the same :D

I agree that there's something "permanent" about buying physical books compared to Kindle books. You need to keep the physical books somewhere, while bad Kindle books can easier be forgotten. Thank you for sharing and commenting! :-)

This is 1 of many reasons why you can't beat a physical book in your hands :D I love the smell of a new book. My Mum and I had a special connection through reading. It's 1 way I can still feel connected to her. Even long after she has passed x I have a list of books that I still want to buy. It's not on an Amazon wish list but written down with pen and paper :)

This comes off as more of a PSA to keep your accounts updated with current information. Comes off a bit disingenuous as the title sounds like books were removed when it was your own faults in account updating. The device issue is a bit of a yikes and for sure not your fault, but keeping up with important accounts otherwise really should be the driving point here. I do agree in backing up any books you do buy - you already paid for it.

i think if you own a digital copy of a book, then is legal to read a pirated one.

You can avoid the need by removing DRM and backing up your library. I’d say it’s a must-do for digital readers. Then you never lose access. I keep my books organized locally in Calibre and backed up to Google Drive.

Same ;-) And I agree, but it can be a bit technical to do for non-technical people. Some of the calibre plugins for kindle books are outdated and you usually have to go digging on github to find updated versions. Most people don't know how to do that :-(
