Graham missed the chance to tell her that the suitcase did contain Spiders and Cats. And Bears and Humans and Elves and Zombies and Vampires and Treefolk and Soliders and Clerics and Druids...
There's a Canadian pastry company called Vachon that make awesome stuff like strawberry Mille Feuille, and there's an apple-raspberry puff pastry they make that's the freaking bomb!
I mean, 15 minutes is a quarter hour, so she just multiplied the 14 hour travel by 4. Don't get me wrong, I was impressed by the speed, but it didn't seem too unreasonable.
Now I see why these took a year, well, besides baaby and unexpected moves and a full content schedule, but besides those reasons, is that these vlogs are polished as hell. Tight editing, great music, engaging content, awesome work G.
I don't know if it was the lighting, the beard, or a confluence of many things but something about the "I don't give a sh*t " phone talk feels Midway between a dad talk and a wwe promo.
I eagerly await the rest of these travel vlogs. I've been rewatching your Japan videos while I contemplate vlogging my own trip to Scandinavia next year (depending on how my sisters/travel companions feel about it, I guess). Thanks for sharing with us!
SO great to see these! Melbourne is my home town and I really love seeing it from another's perspective. Was also amazing to meet you and Kathleen at PAX!
It is completely surreal to see you guys travel Victoria-Vancouver-whatever wacky location. I'm regularly in both airports several times a year as the in-laws live on the island, and the transition from the incredibly familiar to the absurd is fairly amazing.
Potato scollop ;) Actually if I remember correctly (From a year ago!) Graham and Kathleen talked about the weird polarising thing we have about calling them cakes or scollops.
Hey Graham, if there's more of these in the works, I think it would help if you added the date (and maybe year?) in one of the opening bits. I was very confused because I don't know exactly when PAX Aus happens, but I thought it was... now-ish, but then saw footage of the old Moonbase. :P
no joke I was watching this with my Hubs and when Graham went for the suitcase I paused it and said "how muh you wanna bet that's full of Magic cards?" :D
Brisbane is my homeland! I do also love Melbourne. And love the way you pronounce it. Hopefully one day I'll be afforded the opportunity to go to canada and laugh at the silly names of your products too!
I used to fly to Melbourne regularly for business, so I've been on that SkyBus trip a LOT. Is it strange that I never stopped to wonder what LCM stands for? Maybe not, since I've only vaguely acknowledged their existence in passing.
I absolutely didn't even think about the whole 'I like/hate X electronic product!' all this time, it's not something that most people really talk about anymore, so when you mentioned it, it kinda felt like I was on the receiving end of someone telling me why 'x' is good or bad. So that's what it feels like. Huh.
FUCK YEAH SKYBUS Looking forward to seeing what you guys were up to last year...might give me some idea of what to do in my spare time when I'm down there later this month (the Japan vlogs were great for that for my last trip). My only plans so far aside from the con are going to Pancake Parlour and TGIF for that delicious food and drank probably too many times.
GothicMonkey I know, right!? A few years ago I went overseas for a month and the first Aussie accent I heard after coming back sounded like they were laying it on super thick. They weren't, I had just gotten used to not hearing it every day.
I've flown from the UK to Australia (and obviously back again). It went UK to Singapore (15 hours) then Singapore to Perth (5 hours). That trip is the only time I have done a flying in my life and I was not a fan of that long ass flight time, and that was with pretty sweet flying set-up for the time. I had my own TV screen in front of me that I got to control, I was 14 at the time and that was the first time I got to watch Sin City, though that was a little awkward given I was sat next to my Nan at the time lol. To hell with doing it now though, I smoke for one thing, so all that time without a cigarette would be a nightmare lol. PS when waiting for the connection flight in Singapore, airport security waved his MP5 in my face because I had my hood up lol.
I finally had to get an adaptor for the Samsung when it removed the headphone jack too. Have to keep replacing the adaptor as the wires somehow get crimped.
Seriously Graham you make the best travel stuff. Probably all that video editing work you do but after watching the Japan stuff I tried to find more travel stuff and it is all just such poor quality after watching that one.
chi7891 actually still is but people who wanted it just moved to other devices google pixel 2 is eating a lot for that exclusion. granted im not a fan of less features for design sake
Its on the minority. Until bluetooth or usbc headphones are 10 to 20 bucks this port isnt gonna go away its sgill controversial but when google did it the phomes that did it had death sentences for other reasons . Pixel 2 costing more and having less features than my s7 thats a year olf already..... yeah
6:00, note to self, get NC Headphones for my child, Dare I take them on an airplane before their 3rd birthday. .. Secondary note: please try to find ones as cute as the pair Penelope is wearing.
