Losing a Halibut 10 feet from the Boat, Newport OR 6-29-24 

Too nice of a day to not share this despite the fish getting away at the last second. This was on the same drift on the SW corner of the Rock Pile that produced Dad's Halibut a few minutes later. They were definitely on the scent trail and it's an area worth fishing again.
