Love the comment about thinking of whether it'll take a full day or half. a small job that takes the crew 2 hours to do on site will still take 4 hours to get done because of prep beforehand, drive time, on site work, time to dump debris, and then coordination to move onto the next job site. So yeah, a 6 hour job might as well be priced as a full day. Love the input, makes my lunch time a lot better.

I had originally thought command center was coming up with the budgeted hrs from the videos but it looks like the estimator is providing that info. We do estimates the same way by basically selling blocks of time, 1/2 day, full day etc.

Love the videos man. I thought it would've been a great idea to on each episode, focus on a different system being deloyed that is helping you scale so quickly. i.e. Augusta's same day estimates . Almost in like a "how To" format. But I think the videos are a great balance of informational and entertaining! Good luck with the last 9 ;)

Hey man I live in GA about 4 hours south of you, I moved here from Boston last year and I learned that with weather in the north you get rain for days on end like your weather app says. But down here youll get hardcore rain for 10min to maybe an hour at the most then itll stop so hopefully you can get the jobs done in good time. And I’ve been getting all that rain down here and it hasn’t been bad. Good luck man

Yard cleanups are incredibly satisfying as long as you make a healthy profit. Always gotta take surprises into consideration. Just took gutter cleaning off our service offering…too many headaches to work into regular service schedule etc. Mike, I’m a bit surprised you’re offering all the different services when starting/building up a location.

It appears to be English ivy on the tree and possibly kudzu growing through the fence. It is very likely that there will also be poison ivy hiding in there.

It is always best to err on the side of caution when it comes to poison ivy. We also have a team member who is not allergic to poison ivy. That comes is handy on those "jungle taming" projects when there is poison ivy.

i had an estimate where i said 50-weekly 75-biweekly for a yard that was 12,000sqft and he said it was too much what do you think?

My minimum charge for mowing is $55 weekly. I wouldn’t touch anything bi weekly. To get rid of those bi weekly customers I bid $55 weekly or $110 biweekly. They will always choose weekly then. 🤷🏼‍♂️😂

@@caleboldhouser478 yea...bi-weekly interferes with scheduling. We also only provide Year Round service with a 12 month equal payment fee + shrubbery maintenance + seed, fertilizer, weed control -as provided.

Here in Texas it's 30 weekly and 45 bi/weekly bad terrains and dusty as heck..😅 some crews are doing weekly for 25 on subdivisions where they have most of the houses on lock
