I think it’s safe to say it’s best to a have a 1 on 1 mentor if you’re looking to become a scrum master. I can hear the pain in her voice talking about that first traumatic experience 😩😩😩 I decided to pursue the scrum master role after a couple of my friends transitioned from different industries who all had amazing experiences so far due to 1 on 1 training from a Mentor. Thanks for sharing your experiences 💕💕💕

Just a random question: What chair are you using? I'm also a scrum master and as remote work is kind of the thing right now, sitting is affecting my daily work. Would really appreciate a recommendation. In the beginning of the video I saw a tiny bit of your chair but I can't identify it 😆
It's called Secret Lab. They are a bit on the expensive side, but not ridiculously expensive. Honestly, the best office chair I ever had. I have a referral link with a $25 discount: secretlabcanada.refr.cc/daryab (they are not very generous on the discounts...) @Rob-fj7rz
Hello Daria, thank you for this podcast and thanks to Nina too for sharing her experience. I lived some experiences like those described: on the "negative side" the equivalent of being put into in a swimming pool with hands and legs cuffed; feeling completely alone; missing a mentor and, on the "positive side", learning and improving, the team having some success and enjoying it, some nice comment from team members and so on. I miss the "huge one" (on positive side and, luckily on the negative side too :D) yet, but I continue to work for it :D I feel a lot of affinity with what you both told and described in this podcast! I really loved it and I felt really connected to the content and to you both. Thank you. A.
