Losing your Mind in Thailand 

I’m 53. Actually on my way to give it a go at living , at least part time in Thailand. Have had my fair share of issues with drink and drugs and gambling and women. In order to live in Thailand or Las Vegas or Costa Rica or Panama, or Colombia you have to have your shit together. Can’t be an active addict. Can’t drink yourself to death. Or gamble or go girl crazy. Took me a long time to realize less is more. To appreciate the little things in life. To realize that one beer is actually better than 10 beers at the end of the day.

I haven't had a mind since I moved to Thailand. Sanity is vastly overrated.

Great video, truth and honesty perfectly describing the Ying and Yang of living in Thailand. There will always be days of bad decisions but there is always tomorrow to be a good boy, until the next time. Round and round we go . But it’s a great life , forgive yourself , get a hobby , do regular ‘fasting’ . We are all the same , no one gets it right all the time

I like the way you express yourself. Chasing the dragon in Pattaya is a road to oblivion. You say you feel isolated with your wife's limited English making conversations and you resort to your RU-vid channels. The amount of time and effort you put into that takes away from helping your wife to improve her english. Communicating with your wife should be top priority. Time is finite, you got to know what is the best way to use it. Getting more subscribers or getting one who is your loved one to subscribe. She needs to communicate too. Either in Thai or English.

Please keep up the good work,so I have been married to my Thai wife 37 years this November,and around the year 2000 I was like a pools winner in Bangkok,I completely lost the plot,drink drugs and all that Thailand has to offer,I then went on a 17 year self exposed exile because Thailand was the problem,not me,anyway I got sober 3 and half years ago and gave Thailand another go,now I am loving it,after visiting 154 countries I can not find an alround better city then Bangkok,and about by snide comment about no seat belt for kids,in the madness of alcoholism I use to drive drunk with my kids,i think most people are guilty of some madness in Thailand,take care

Love your honesty about having a true connection, it's the small neonses of language that are very important, in Newcastle (England) the P1ss take between mates is great, and would be lost on a lot of English speaking nations, sometimes it's not what you say but what you don't say that's funny 😂 the body language is also very important.

A Farang living in Thailand is like dancing with the devil you have to watch every step and move you do so carefully . I've said this a million times over most farangs hit a wall after a span of five years in Thailand on the exceptions of some die hards but Thailand in the end will win .

If you're lonely in Thailand it's your own fault. All you have to do is step outside and say hello to a pretty girl. It doesn't get much easier than that.

Looks are only skin deep and they’re fleeting, it’s true. I know myself I can’t be with anybody that doesn’t have some kind of education. I’m a woman, I’ve been with some beautiful men with beautiful bodies, face, they have the walking, but in the end it’s not enough. I was around this man with jowls, he looked like a dog, he shined.
