I think a lot of people here confuses the nur (glow of the spirit) with the beauty of the face. Nur could be sensed despite your appearances, no matter your skin tone, your facial proportions, whether you're tired, young or old etc - nur supercedes all that. There's something about people with nur that made them easy on the eyes and heart, it brings peace and ease to those who saw them. Beauty on the other hand, is usually all about being physically and conventionally attractive.
I think it’s because most people aren’t even meeting face to face so they’re just judging a photo, and it could be surgical enhancements or even filters or photoshop, so you think that person has “nur “ but it’s manufactured and fake. Whereas someone’s photo might seem ugly but when you see them in person they are beautiful, and have an aura about them. Social media is really the poison
This is so true. I have noticed that when I do bad deeds my face goes dark, miserable, tiring and horrible. I’m not saying when I do good deeds it glows like a candlelit but there is defo calmness and peace on my face. Maybe I need to change my mirror.
I thought it was just me. Yes, I glow different when I abstain from sin. And when I sin, my skin becomes dark, rough and just not glowy. I’m sure this is real
i had a friend who shared similar struggles with me in sins. he has stopped watching bad stuff for 8 months plus. i met him again after a while. He recently finished umrah. i saw his face and there was something about his face that was different in a good way. His skin was clean and glowing. i thought that it had to be the nur of good deeds
When you look at your face just after wudu, do you not see yourself to be even more beautiful? I do, but then that fades and I look normal again a while after I’ve lost my wudu. Subhanallah
@@linaasia8674 not really, it's like it's washing the sins. When we sin it's recommended to make Wudu and pray two rakats for forgiveness. Allah know best.
Pray, exercise, eat quality food, go outside and admire nature. When you look in the mirror and don't like what you see then Change. If you like what you see, say Mashallah la Quatilabillah. Share only good news so it will echo back at you. share only good food and things you also want to buy for yourself. Don't watch the news too often but watch those who are close to you and need you the most. Change often.... (food, environment, style, hobbies ect.)
This has nothing to do with beauty, but the noor in peoples faces. And generally only people that have noor themselves can see it in other people clearly...
Speaker is not talking about beautiful face,, he is actually telling us that a pious person always have a different attraction, like innocence on face,, (Now dont use this indicator to judge people by face,, The real meaning of speaker is to motivate us to stop doing sins in the seek of that innocence and particular attraction on face, (which comes when Allah becomes happy with you), And surely, the purity of heart.
That’s true but some people get sick or gain weight but they still pray and stay on the dean but their face becomes dull and lacks noor. You can’t say that those who have tired looking faces or sick looking faces are straying from the deen. On the other hand you have young tiktok celebs for example who are half naked and dancing and what not and who r getting up to no good having the most glowing faces. I think this kinda view further stigmatises those individual who r going through hardships such as sickness and other struggles which is taking a toll on their appearance.
their faces don't glow in real life without the help of those filters and makeup, you can see how nasty and corrupt they are when you meet them and see their natural face, with the exception of the ill you can easily tell who is righteous and who is a devil
You are right, but what has been said in the video isn't wrong either, I've experienced it multiple times first hand. Maybe that could have been put together better, maybe the comparison should be with that same person in different states of iman and a'maal.
What's amazing is how you don't even have to see your face to know whether it is darkened or shining with nur. The more we make ourselves aware of Allah and the responses we have to our trials, the more attuned we should be to the nur or darkness in our hearts. May Allah grant us peace and mercy.
This reminds me of people that call nice people stupid or “meskine”. Dark souls don’t like seeing light on other peoples faces they will try to destroy it at all costs. they are jealous of their innocence often
Do not confuse "nice" people with "good" people. Even the selfish or wicked can act nice - but their face lack the 'nur' (light) of genuine goodness. Dark souls are not just not nice, they are incapable of pure, righteous & altruistic thoughts. That is also why Islam forbids the sin of fornication. In which we know involves misguided souls who devolved to a very primal, animalistic state. Zina is rarely done out of love & with compassion but instead reminiscent of animals. Purely lustful (often filthy, dehumanizing acts). And these individuals expect to have the glow of goodness? You can tell from a mile away who's been good and who's been beastly. Steer clear of those who have destroyed their own self. For your destruction, by their will is imminent.
The Prophet (peace be in him) said: “When a human being passes, the things that help in the grave are Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity), [religious] knowledge one leaves behind that others benefit from, and a righteous child who prays for the person” (Muslim). This Ramadan, teach others and our kids surahs that you know and give ongoing charity for your benefit in the hereafter, Allah is the most Merciful
Pls everyone stop getting the wrong idea it's not dark and fair it's a GLOW glow n brightness can come in any color. U can get a sun tan and it's normal doesn't mean u lost ur noor.
(Great Confusion ) Speaker is not talking about beautiful face,, he is actually telling us that a pious person always have a different attraction, like innocence on face,, (Now dont use this indicator to judge people by face,, The real meaning of speaker is to motivate us to stop doing sins in the seek of that innocence and particular attraction on face, (which comes when Allah becomes happy with you), And surely, the purity of heart.
Fantastic video, MashaaAllah. I know it was said correctly in the pinned comment but.. just a reminder: "JazakAllah" can may either mean "may Allah reward you" or "may Allah punish you", while "JazakAllah Khair" means ... "may Allah reward you with the Best / Good". So the correct way is to say Jazakallah khair & not just JazakAllah.
Please don't consider "Dark" here as a colour or something he is referring to a spiritual level... A Noor that sparks out when someone speaks .. when he talks he feels alive not dead .. something like that
You often make references to people of Mauritania, that makes me smile because it's my country and I concur what you say, lots of pure people there, especially in the country side.
Thanks timothy samuals and Easton West…i did began to doubt myself as my face has gone dark over the last few years and believed it was because of my illness but after watching this video i began to doubt myself but you 2 are right, our external and internal environments also impact our physical appearance
Literally life is the reason that the nur, innocence, happy face goes away from people and you see that their faces covered with problems, life lessons, sadness
So much that can be understood by these beautiful words... but only if we have the experience. And experience is almost always learning after defilement. Thank you so much once again
2:37 2:52 between these seconds he showed arabs old dudes and call them pure and light and then showed old black man sitting with his family and call him dark and unpure and this sh1t doesn't sit right with me.
It's crazy, isn't it? 95% of the entire global ummah is Ahlul Sunnah wa'l Jamaat, but almost every single lecturer you will find in the media and especially in the internet is from the wahhabi sect. We are so absurdly under-representad.
@@theblackvalley1000 it's not a division, it's the institutionalization of knowledge. Otherwise, what type of Islam are you supposed to give to the coming generations? "yeah I think Allah looks like a man and sits on a throne in the sky - but hey, I'm a Muslim bro, let's not get divided" "and I just insulted the chastity of Hz. Aisha - but hey, it's OK though, I'm a Muslim bro, no one can divide us, right?" Don't get confused by nonsensical rhetorics sponsored by the House of Saud.
@@smavi4133 you misunderstood the Muslim part. Let me explain to you Christians were one group and now they are many divided. NOW Muslims are many groups and everyone says we are right. My prayer is the way it suppose to be not yours. GOD did not call Hanafi, Hambali, Maliki, and so forth.. He called Us Muslims
I may say something weird now, but everytime I’ve just finished making wudu (ablution) and I look at my face in the mirror, I’ve always noticed my face to be even more beautiful than before. Idk if it’s just the water or if my face is even more beautiful when wet?? Idk but yeah 🤷🏽♀️ but then I look more normal about an while later when I lose my wudu 🧐
To be honest cats and dogs look also much more cute when they are younger. But there’s also a point to that, people who do more bad things are mostly in a miserable state, that reflects on the face. They can’t smile and automatically they look less happy. If you do good deeds you feel better and that also reflects on your whole appearance
Yes anything in childhood has neotony features some people have those features into adulthood and are usually called baby face, for children and animals they are created this way so people feel pity or love them to take care of them because they cannot take care of themselves, if they were created unattractive no one would want to look after them, this is also Allahs wisdom in creation
It because they are just built cute. But different with the glow of noor of the pious person. Even if they facial features doesnt make them cute, but they face can calm your heart when you see him. The glow of noor can be feel. No matter how dark they skin, but if you look at their face, your heart kinda feel calmer. For example you will feel at ease seeing scholar’s face.
I can see it on people's faces - the 'nur' or glow of virtue. Which is also why Islam forbids the sin of fornication aka 'zina'. When you look carefully at men & women who are pure, as well as virtuous at heart, whether they are attractive or not you can see that glow. Of purity. Whereas, those who commit the act of zina (foolish as they may be by trying to act like the make-believe Alpha members of society) know that they no longer have that glow. Why? Zina, to my understanding is purely lustful - animalistic. And the perpetrators of which stoop to heinous, dehumanising acts. It's not love. Some are so lowly that not only do they mimic animalistic poses but even sink to the level of seeking pleasure anally or worse, bodily fluids! God forbid! And after engaging in such decadent acts, does one think still think that glow of purity will hold? That glow, the light of *iman* is for the righteous & chaste! Not for the damaged & lost. Yes, 'damaged' is such a strong word but beware for they who are damaged themselves will wage a path of destruction. Marry them at your peril. For unless they truly have repented from their hearts, these rotten humans... rotten, *entitled* damaged individuals will seek the good & virtuous to marry. To use as a shield that (hopefully) can hide their inadequacies. Indeed, Hamza Yusuf said it true - "they will seek to defile that which is pure." Destruction is the seed, which they who are devoid of dignity will sow.
huh i am orthodox and i noticed this too. my old friends just look different in the eyes. i believe repentance, forgiveness & love can fix this. in my experience, it’s hard to turn back the further you go, but i think the light seems more intense if you’re brave enough to turn back. it’s like they are sitting on a goldmine. i can’t forget the way a nun looked at me as a little child. pure light. i didn’t even understand what she was, i thought she was a fairy or something. LOL i also had a friend named Noor like nur. we noticed both our names meant light/bright in our languages!

Here are some motivating tips from Allah and the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) to help you raise your degrees in Jannah as well as increase your property in Shaa Allah. I) Raise your degrees 1) Memorising the Quran Abd-Allah Ibn 'Amr narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"It will be said to the companion of the Quran : Recite and rise in status, recite as you used to recite in the world, for your status will be at the last verse that you recite." [ Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood ] 2) Doing a lot of dhikr Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"Shall I not inform you the best and the purest of your deed in the sight of your Master, which is the highest in your degrees, is superior to your spending gold and silver in charity, and is better than confronting and fighting against your enemy, cutting one another's necks?". The companions submitted :"Yes, indeed!". He (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"It is remembering Allah." [ Sahih Tirmidhi ] 3) Doing good deeds(at least compulsory good deeds) and staying away from bad deeds Allah said :" And whoever comes to Him (Allah) as a believer, and has done righteous good deeds, for such are the high ranks (in the Hereafter)." (Quran 20:75) 4) Doing a lot of nawafil (non compulsory deeds) According to Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said : " Allah said :" Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant : he hates death and I hate hurting him." [ Bukhari ] 5) How to earn Jannat ul-Firdaws (highest degree in Jannah) Allah said :"1) Certainly the believers have succeeded : 2) They who are during their prayer humbly submissive, 3) And they who turn away from ill speech, 4) And they who are observant of Zakah, 5) And they who guard their private parts, 6) Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed, 7) But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors, 8) And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive, 9) And they who carefully maintain their prayers, 10) Those are the inheritors, 11) Who will inherit Al-Firdaws. They will abide theirein eternally." (Quran 23 : 1-11) 6) Making a sincere du'aa that you desire Jannat ul-Firdaws It was recorded in the Two Sahihs that the Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said : "If you ask Allah for Paradise, then ask Him for Al-Firdaws for it is the highest part of Paradise, in the middle of Paradise, and from it spring the rivers of Paradise, and above it is the Throne of the Most Merciful." [ Bukhari and Muslim ] II) Increase your property II-1) How to build a palace 1) Reciting 10 times surah 'Ikhlas' The Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:"Whoever recites Qul huwallaahu aHad (Surah Ikhlaas) ten times, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise." [Saheeh al-Jaami’ al-Sagheer, 6472)] PS : It is a very easy way to earn a palace and it only takes about one minute. So you can earn 10 palaces in 10 minutes. Don't waste this great opportunity and try to make this a motivating habit and earn as many palaces as you can. 2) Praying 12 rak'aat in a day Narrated by Umm Habibah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said : "A house will be built in Heaven for one who prays 12 Sunnat Rak'aat in a day and evening as follows : 4 rak'aat before and 2 after the Dhur Prayer, 2 after the Maghrib Prayer, 2 after the 'Ishaa' Prayer and 2 before the Fajr Prayer." [ Tirmidhi ] PS : According to the scholars, the 4 rak'aat should be performed by 2 prayers of 2 rak'aat 3) Building a masjid The Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"Whoever builds a masjid (mosque) for Allah, Allah will build for him likewise in Paradise." [ Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim ] 4) Abandoning arguments and lies and improving your behaviour Abu Umamah (RA) narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"I am a guarantor for a house on the outskirts of Paradise for whosoever leaves off arguing, even if he is in the right; and a house in the center of Paradise for whosoever abandons falsehood, even when joking; and a house in the upper-most part of Paradise for whosoever makes his character good." [ Abu Dawud ] II-2) How to earn other great things in your property 1) A tree in Jannah Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (RA) reported that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"I met Nabi Ibrahim (AS) when I was taken on Mi'aj (ascension to the heavens) and he told me :"O Muhammad, convey my salam (greetings) to your ummat and tell them that Jannah has good soil and sweet water, but it is barren. The plantation of Jannah is (the recital of) Subhan'Allah, Alhamdulill'AH? La ilaha illa Allah and Allahu Akbar." [ Sunan Tirmidhi, hadith: 3462. Imam Tirmidhi has classified his hadith as sound (hasan) ] PS : It is time to build our own huge forests in Shaa Allah. So let's get motivated. 2) A palm tree in Jannah Hadhrat Jaa'bir (RA) narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"For the person who recites 'SUBHAN'ALLAH HIL AZEEM WA BIHAMDIHI' (Pure and Perfect is Allah in his glory and praise], - A date palm will be planted for him in Paradise". [ Tirmidhi ] 3) Treasures of Jannah Hadhrat Abu Dharr (RA) narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :" Should I not tell you of one treasure of the unlimited treasures of Paradise?" I replied spontaneously "Oh Rasulallah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) that would be an honor indeed!" Rasulallah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"That rare is 'LA HAWLA WA LA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAH."(There is no power and no strength except with Allah) [ Ibn Majah ] 4) A particular amazing room Abdallah Ibn 'Amr (RA) narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"There is a room in Paradise whose outside is seen from its inside and whose inside is visible from its outside." So Abou Malk Al Ach'ari (RA) asked :"For whom is it, O Messenger of Allah?". He (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"These rooms will belong to the ones who speak good words, feed the poor, they fast and pray at night when people are at sleep." [ Reported by Tabarani and authenticated bu Shaykh Albani in Sahih Targhib No. 617) PS : These 4 conditions can be done during Ramadan. So let's all strive for this amazing room. 5) Hoor Al Ain (women of Paradise) The Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"Whoever suppresses anger and he is able to act upon it, then Allah (SWT) will call him on the day of judgement in front of everyone and make him choose whichever one of the women of Paradise he wants (of Al hoor Al Ayn)". [ Sahih Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud ] 6) An honorable place in Jannah Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever goes to the mosque in the morning and evening, Allah will prepare for him a place in Paradise for every morning and evening.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 631, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 669 PS : Let's not let go of all of these wonderful rewards. I have lost my face due to Sehar . With some internal damages . I face every day stares to comments from people , wrinkles at 30s , loss of fat . I am praying one day it will be reversed . Who is reading this , please don’t ask me another question.. please pray for the end of this trial for me from Allah Almighty.😥
When i was schooling.. my friends said I'm cute and pretty.. after went to college.. in which also i feel so stressed being there.. my friends see me as a "dark" and "ugly" person.. later.. after i was be confirmed to suffering from some kind of jinn possession.. after the first Islamic treatment they said my face wasn't dark as before.. and seems to be glowing.. some of them not knowing what I've been through even asked me what kind of product I've tried.. But now.. I'm still confuse looking at my own mirror image sometimes.. sometimes it's pretty and the other time it's horrible.. as if there's envy or evil eyes over me.. idk.. hopefully this will be ended soon.. at least before i get married.. so worried if suddenly my future spouse see me ugly..
I think that people glow when being loved, happy and satisfied. This glowing does not require to be religious at all. Children are loved because they do not cause danger to anyone and are therefore not hated but loved and glow. Nur is something else, it is like a radiation which can occur while being close to God. This type of radiation is not loved by everyone. People who have dirty hearts and are weak when beeing close to such radiation get crazy and exhibit aggressive behavior. Evliyahs who are close to God usually do not live in cities and are commonly protected by God personally for which reason are surrounded with highly religious people or those with pure hearts.
I feel slightly sorry for people in the comments who either think "Noor" means being physically beautiful or having a light complexion (colour). Seriously, we live in the Age of Information and you don´t research something that you don´t understand? There is so much knowledge available at the click of a button. Noor is NOT being light-coloured, please! It is the INNER LIGHT...almost like you see a calm and kindness on somebody´s face. I know of several celebrities that are considered extremely beautiful (Hollywood and Bollywood), but over the years, there is a "stern" and "harsh" quality to their faces, even arrogance. I don´t want to mention names as they too are Allah´s creation, and I don´t intend to insult anyone. It is often called "la´nah" on the face. One male star is world-famous for his so called attractive face, yet today, he looks so cunning and almost scary (dangerous). In fact, he started looking like that even in his youth. He´s famous for going through women like toilet paper, just using and throwing. Another star, female, won beauty contests and got famous for her looks. Yet many people don´t like her and she looks so arrogant, unhappy and almost evil. Even when she smiles, she looks false. People have picked up on this, but her fans don´t understand why so many dislike her. She genuinely looks like she doesn´t have good thoughts for anybody but her own family. It´s quite mind-boggling how someone can have such amazing features, yet look so arrogant/off that so many people dislike her. A lot of her projects have failed, despite her being so famous for her "beauty". In her industry, other people have succeeded, despite being considered "ugly". I wish people would understand that physical beauty doesn´t mean that you´re guaranteed worldly success or good qismat (or good aakhira). Physical beauty can also garner a lot of jealousy, evil eye and people wanting to see you fail. A lot of physically beautiful people walk into the trap of self-obsession, arrogance and not being able to tolerate ageing. All their life, their number one value was their looks, so ageing scares them way more than a regular person. Some of them also commit a lot of sins because they get so many offers/attention, thus getting further away from Allah swt. That´s why prophet Yousuf a.s was so unique! A man whose looks made women chase him, yet he chose to fear Allah. Most men today, even Muslim, would behave like they are entitled to sinning and wouldn´t hesitate a second to be with several women. They would blame their own weakness on women. So, please don´t wish for such good looks that it becomes a trial for you.
Ask for forgiveness frequently and fulfil your responsibilities properly (salah, fasting, zakat) stay away from sins as much as you can and watch how your face glows
Being conscious of what we say and who is in front of us when we worship rather than doing it like a robot. Night prayers and fasting alot on top of stop sinning, not eating, drinking, sleeping excessevely and abandoning vain entertainment and replace it by hours of dhikr and istighfarah. Having a glowing face is not really something to look for, it just happen naturally as we obey Allah as we should with sincerity and purity of intention, as same as the evildoer who fornicates, drinks alcohol, smokes, curses, eats, drinks and sleeps like an animal destroys his body, his skin and has his face becoming naturally darker, and distorted as he or she ages.
Avoid haram consumables and your body, face and skin will stay the best way possible. I know two friends who are brothers. The older one consumed a lot of alcohol, weed and stuff. The younger one avoided it like the plague. The oldest one is 5'8 while the younger one is 6'2
La. Please do not say that. Please do not make this about race/ skin color. It is irrespective of that. The good deeds that you do will be perceived by the world. It is not that your face is shining.
I would like to expand on the dangers of talks like this and ignorance hiding behind ideology when someone appears to to be articulate and knowledgeable because they have read a book. What I would actually call this is simply - THE LAWS OF MAN - I call it this simply because anybody who is able to think for themselves just as human being without bringing in religion and understanding that they are human first will understand that what is being said in this video is simply being said by another human being who believes in an ideology that their a specific book that was given to a specific human being many hears ago by a so called angelic being and this was a direct message from a supreme deity. To have belief, one has to be absolutely sure and convinced about something and then allow that conclusion to settle in the mind so that it can start becoming part of ones life to the point that you can no longer tell the difference between what is real and what is not. One then attributes this as faith and assigns everything in their life over to this ideology - believing, trusting and relying on those who they see share the same views as them and those who appear to have further knowledge of the ideology as ones to listen to and believe even more. Now without being disrespectful in anyway I would like to ask the following questions: 1. Besides what has been handed down over the ages - does anybody really know for certain where the Quaran comes from? 2.Regarding the process of death and how it is explained in Islam - everything regarding where the soul goes to after death in this world and also about the final days and Nabi Issa's return has anybody ever experience this themselves and comeback from lets say a near death experience? 3. Has anybody ever spoken to Allah and Allah spoken back to them? 4. Does anybody besides what they've been told or read in a book really know who they are? And by this I mean beyond their constructed identity that was formulated when they were birthed and named? So lets say for example - you were involved in a bad accident and as a result you had amnesia and you could not remember a thing - therefore completely void of your accumulated identity - would you still be you? and that why I am asking the question - Does anybody know who they really are subtracting all the accumulated constructed identities. 5. Does anybody know who Muhammed was? once again this question is going beyond the records that was handed down by those who wrote about him and various accounts of his life.
I’m sorry to say but the questions and ideas you have put forth hold no real value. Firstly your point of being just ‘human’ is too vague. With all the points you have listed, you are specifically looking for these evidences whereas there has already been countless other evidences that have been given. I would go through them one by one but it would take very long. I recommend you listen to some of our Muslims that work with philosophy and answer such questions :) - RU-vid’s such hamza tzortis or Muhammad hijab answer these types of questions. I hope good for you.
@@M3RKxHD786 To expand on me saying " Just being human" Let me clarify maybe by asking the question: Can a Muslim be born onto this earth without having the form of a human being - both physical and mentally? And can a human be born on to this earth without having the identity constructs of being a Muslim? If you can see the answer in this then that answers the question. And then to clarify I am speaking specifically about the human species I am not mentioning Djinn. If the barometer to my questions is value, then what you are simply saying is "to seek knowledge" holds no value and is "seeking knowledge" not one the most important encouragements in Islam. Unless you think that it is being referred to as seeking knowledge that is only in favour of Islam - therefore limiting the seeking of knowledge -making it null and void/ You see since your lens or view is limited you simply dodge the questions - where you could have just said: "I do not know". You see even though I am not a Muslim I understand and more importantly experience Islam beyond the articulate charismatic speeches of what I would like to call "grand standing self appointed men of knowledge". I want you to think about your answer carefully, I am not saying you are ignorant, but I am trying to point out to you the lack of knowledge you have about your own religion. The messenger of Allah said “Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him.” 15. Narrated Anas bin Malik: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever goes seeking knowledge, then he is in Allah's cause until he returns.” In Surah 39:9, the Quran rhetorically asks: “Can they who know and they who do not know be deemed equal?” and exhorts believers to pray for advancement in knowledge. Further, the Quran exhorts believers not to pursue that of which they have no knowledge since God will hold them accountable for actions which reflect a lack of knowledge. Therefore instead of passing me on to other youtube channels, as a Muslim you should never be lazy to speak about your Deen, whether it takes 20 days or 100 days. Its is a duty bestowed upon you. However if you had chosen to not reply to my questions that would probably have been best. I have a message for you that I want you to carry with you going forward - do not take your religion for granted. Do not think that what you are doing is enough, do not rely on other human beings to talk about your religion without having the knowledge yourself. When scholars appear - truth disappears as this when divide starts due to the scholars not agreeing on certain points. You need to make Islam your own, praying 5 times a day and ticking off the rest of the pillars of Islam is but preresquit to your flow of life while on this earth, expand your mind with knowledge by seeking and expand your heart with love. It is my blessing and prayer for you. When we meet oneday this will all make sense. 🙏
@@lionofallah3441 No disrespect - please read you Quaran instead of listening to interpretations of other men. @@Juan2142 With all due respect, but both the Quran and the Hadith both speak about nour in the faces of the believers as well as darkness in the face of the kuffr. I can literally cite you multiple verses that allude to this- and will if you want later today because I am currently driving. There are also multiple hadeeth that mention this. Darkness in the face of those whom are encompassed in sin. There are also Hadith about our prophets nour, saying that whenever the companions would look at him it was as if they were staring at the sun due to how much light he would emit. Lastly, children are able to read energy and auras way better than adults are. I can attest to this from first hand experience. I used to meet adults as an adolescent that were either cloaked in light or in layers of darkness and red. The messenger of Allah also said that when you we pray Salat and make Wudu Allah conceals the sin on our faces and covers it with Light. So brother, stop assuming and do more research yourself. There is a reality to what the writers of this article are referring to. I would advise you to do the same. Read the Quran and the sunnah and stop taking everything to be an allegory. When Allah says He covers our darkness with light, it isn’t only symbolic. And Allah knows best.

What drivel. Shame. At least heard of our youth are brought up in traumatic households. But don’t look behind the curtain! Just keep blathering on about the symptoms of the problem.
@@hassanashwas6719 *White worship and mutilation of true Islamic creed. Reigning Islam into yoke of modern western imperialist civilization. Including female hyperglorification as well as incorporation of feminist ideologies into mainstream Islam. It is despicable to say the least. Moreover these white European reverts are given precedence in marriage to Muslim women and also given honorary governance positions in mosques and Muslim institutions.*
I WISH THAT YOU WOULD TELL US WHAT MASYYAH MEANS! HY ALWAYS USES THESE ARABIC WORDS W/O THE MEANING! HOW IS THAT SUPPOSED TO HELP AN AVRAGE MUSLIM BORN AND RAISED IN THE US?!
I think you need to pay attention and relax. The whole context of the lecture is talking about the effect of masiyya/sins on the face. Not to mention the video literally gave an actual translation of the word 0:12
Why dark face is implying as ugly here . In Islam , white people is not superior to dark people and vice versa. This guy is saying some racist thing here.
No he wasn't talking about skin color but the 'light' that radiates from people's faces. Some people have agreeable and gentle faces while other have faces that radiates dark thoughts and dark emotions.
what is being said on the vid is not at all true on the contrary similar arguments has been made in the past to justify slaver; politically first and then validation from religious institution. we cannot visibly see noor (Musa AS has some experience). Mr Hamza Yusuf have no experience of extreme hardship and pain or suffering based on what has been said. Lack of sleep, being continually dehydrated, stress, mal nutrition and even sickness mild or severe, heck covid itself changes looks. Children and young people with cancer will also look battled. Nouman Ali Khan has talks about items in the heart/qalb which we barely have access and control of our own selves let alone of somebody else. And we obviously cannot assess others based on what they look. Even when someone is working on the connection/relation, struggle/pain wears people down but with the belief, we move on. kim jong-un from the age of 28, son of salman had a part in Khashoggi's departure, etc following the logic of mr yusuf, would be floating and reflecting light like the best of mirrors and this 4:34min is viciously wrong/false and it leads to scary paths. That is not to say from substance abusers and dealers to criminals of humanity and law has to have good/bad looks, natural looks is just sth that we are given. Also, about elderly peoples' looks, the features that old age bring, there is an ayat and hadiths too, is just processes of life. " ...mean i wanted to do just an experiment where you took all of the pictures of our awliya our people righteous people and then just put pictures of all the old people in the dunya and just show the faces just show the faces and let people see for themselves which group they want to be among when they get old and this is not about..." that experiment has been done too many times and the people who did it went 'extinct.' Looking religious does not mean there is iman. If Mr. Hamza Yusuf actually said this, viewers/listeners be warned.
@@zahinrahman7634 absolutely right brother. Bilal RA was an African man, and he will be the first muslim to enter Jannah. Unfortunately nowadays in our Muslim community, looks are given utmost priority, white skin is considered beautiful and people with white skin are considered pure. This is all shaytan's mis guidance. Prophet haven't passed any judgement on anyone based on their looks. He said everyone in front of Allah is equally loved. May Allah guide us muslims on right path and remove this racist thinking from our mind
