Pretty sure LoF/GoF is **not** about the production level, but rather producing altogether different proteins e.g. missense variants and alternative splicing

Yeah LoF produces non enzymatic protein GoF produces inactive abnormal proteins

please help clarify so “gain of function” in cancer studies means the cancer cells grow, replicate and take over right? and when “gain of function” used when those people spoke of it refererence to 🎉irus studies it means the lab is in fact creating stronger viruses by fertilizing them with “growth mediums” of sorts? to eventually study how to kill them, the virus which they or another lab has created? do they create cancers like that? does GOF mean same thing for both? so confusing on a side note ya think the eugenists out there are using bioengineers’ studies to get to people? guess i’ve read one too many King novels never seen so much illness ever!
