Lost Adams Gold Diggings - Clues to the Gold #3

Three segments where Ron discusses several aspects of his experience at the Diggings, and only one monolog section by me where I nerd out on Spanish Mining Law and the importance of Mercury. Ron shows a "medallion" found at the diggings that he thinks could be Aztec - central and south American classic cultures did make a lot of flat earring type things, and they did idolize the Eagle - when their prophecy of an Eagle clutching a Snake on a Prickly Pear cactus came true, they moved back out of their floating platform swampy exile and started subjugating everyone within reach. Ron goes through some pictures, including one that make it pretty clear how D-Cross mountain got its name. He even relates how one of the former owners of the ranch that the Diggings is on used a helicopter to access a cave where they found a bag of gold and a pot - question is: how did they know to search there!? Ron discusses the frozen/petrified landscape I hope to go see and document someday, and we have just a generally good chat out in the Southern New Mexico desert.

Whoa, I can definitely see a cross right in the center on that mountain photograph for sure! Looks like there is another cross or X at the peak area on the right side of the summit! But definitely in the middle of the mountain. But, did anyone else notice the 2 cave like holes right above the cross about half way up the face of the mountain?? Well, if you look very closely as t each one, you will see an almost identical boulders in what would be the right corners of the caves or whatever they are.. To me it looks intentional to make those 2 cave opening areas look like 2 human eyes! With the 2 placed boulders being there pupils of the eyes! Just thought about the 2 eyes that were on the edges of those mountains and Victorio Peak etc. Maybe eyes mean gold or something.... An eye is basically a circle with a shot in the center! Which is according to what you said earlier in your videos, is a symbol for gold! Okay that's all for now. 👍✌️✌️✌️ Peace ☮️

Circle dot (which would look like an eye) is definitely an old and oft-used symbol for the Sun or gold. Not sure I can see all of what you are describing. That's what is tricky about this stuff. There is a famous Face on a mountain just 40 miles south of this spot called the "Magdalena" (near the town of the same name) which is a lady's face formed by brush and boulders on the side of a mountain and visible from way off. Sometimes I can see it when I drive that way, sometimes not. But, it was consistent enough to get a name and end up in the history books. Maybe you are on to something similar. I have only been to this spot once so far in person. Ron has been there tons of times.

Aw, friend, if I really, really knew, I'd probably just keep it to myself. There are many different versions of the Lost Adams tale. The most interesting bodies of work that I know of are the books: The Black Range Tales by McKenna, and Apache Gold and Yaqui Silver by J. Frank Dobie. However, there are very different tales told in newspapers closer in time to the events. I personally don't put too much stock in old newspapers, unless you are talking Giants, LOL. Many who have looked, in their later years, declare it "found", and almost always somewhere near where their old bones have come to rest. The relative consistency of the Books I mentioned, and the people in them, are why I put the most stock in them. Some old timers like to put every treasure tale into one master tale, relating everything to everything. This seems to inevitably cause them to name a single organization, be it the Jesuits, the Spanish, the KGC, Jesse James, and so on for all large land-based treasures. In the case of this video, the locality is one favored by Ron Schade, who is featured in the book Return to the Lost Adams Diggings. The mountains mentioned here are the Gallinas, north-north west of Magdalena, NM. Where do I think the Diggings are? I have no one place - but I do have a lost of areas with the right "theme" by my reckoning. Some would say research forever before heading out. I say to mix the two, as the field informs the reading, and the mountains and deserts are much prettier than the city so you will win that prize no matter what.

How far down were the logs from the fireplace

I think in one of the newer vids Ron says it was at the confluence of two of the drainages. Not sure how far that is, though. His book may have that in there.

I found it in the middle of nowhere real close by this place .... if u wanna check it out drop an email so I can send u some pics. who knows, maybe theirs some other stuff laying around, the place I found this thing is historically known to be a route used by outlaws,bandidos including Pancho Villa's to get to and from Mexico..... or something like that, like I said, I'm no expert, I just started reading about it after I refound this piece I say I found and still have ......

Hi Robert, sounds very interesting. I have heard of both silver and copper bars being found along old trails and roads around the Caballo mountains. Of course, the lost Padre silver bar story over by Flagstaff features a huge silver bar found in Bonito Park that was supposedly displayed in a storefront for many years in town. I also know a guy who's uncle found a large gold nugget just off the road to Hillsboro, NM by sort of kicking at the dirt out of boredom while he was watching his sheep flock graze. My email should be in the "About" section or just use avadams at lostadams gold . com.

@@lostadamsgold The sad thing about this is Gold Rush Expeditions staked a claim on it for like $250 and are trying to sell it for $89,000!! If it were me I would stay far away from this company they are big scammers

It's not green. Lol. In it's natural mineral form is cinnabar or realgar. Anyways. If mercury is just bubbling up it's pretty crazy or man-made
@lostadamsgold
@lostadamsgold Год назад
Hi Robert. Across many years, Ron always described the halo as green. Cinnabar in macro form is red, but I don't think that is what Ron was describing. I always figured it was epidote or something like that. The mercury was detected via chemical assay, not visually. Mercury anywhere in this part of the country is anomalous, even if just in an assay.

I hope you're right because the backstabbing company called Gold Rush expeditions put a claim I'm part of that land. They watch RU-vid channels and find mines and then claim these mines and don't care if they are good mines or not!! Then they throw a ridiculous price tag on the mine. Just like this one they gave their 200 something dollars to claim it and are trying to sell it over $89,000. They are crooks and I would stay far away from them

You are entitled to you opinion, but not to facts. You may want to check On-X or a public GIS source. The subject area is a mix of USFS, USDOI BLM, State of NM, Private, and Tribal. The exact status has changed over time. Also, land status one way or another, not everyone knew or had access to detailed status information decades ago - and probably some people did not care, especially for unmarked boundaries. So, defining "that" would probably help your argument, but I doubt you'll put in that much energy - much easier to do a drive by.
