Have this game for years now, is not a great game but not a bad game, more like a ok game, is like 7 days to die but without zombies, the only zombies you have will be the sharks, they finally add a end game a couple of months ago that makes you build a gyrocopter (like in 7 days to die), without spoiling the game you have to build it but is really a long way to get there
oh yeah i got the game for free the same way, and it's cool as a concept, but in my opinion not well executed (i'm at 34 minutes in as of typing this). here are some of my complaints so far: -the tutorial is not very good and missing a lot of stuff to explain, including some of the controls like for dropping things, or for the different sub-menus of the crafting menu, or even the fact that you can combine inventory slots with items sitting on the ground to craft things, or using the toolbelt... they don't even tell you how to get certain stuff from shipwrecks! like tyres or buoy balls. you actually have to hack at them until they separate. -the starting island is pretty small, and although it has a good amount of resources, lashing/rope is one of the most used resources, yet the hardest to find when needed because you use up the entire island's stock of fiberous leaves in the first day and they regrow very slowly (although there's a ton of useless green bushes everywhere). also i wish you needed less of these fibers to make rope cause 4 is too much for the amount you get (1 per sapling or 5 per yucca tree). you can use the yucca fruit to plant yucca trees using the farming menu but even then it's not enough if you need like 2 ropes a day -how some things are crafted. like why do i need rope to make a coconut flask when i can just use the coconut on its own. and in the recipes in the consumables menu when you make a medicine like the aloe for sunburn, after you drink it the flask disappears instead of being reusable.
