Banger vid as always my dude. The G4 intro is the most accurate and relatable thing ever. Our party (TTH, Robust, Surge, Artist) really isn’t that high on stagger. I’m running a horrendous 3x overwhelm rune setup just to barely pass the checks lol. Also had to drop Grenade dps tripod for the awful triple nade. All issues aside GS is so incredibly fun in the raid!!! Also the amount of pain some patterns cause for 1620 GS in HM is insane, took a while to get used to being one shot by certain things again. Anyway great adventure you had there, waiting for more.
thank you,that sounds like real pain i dunno, i did reclear with moon reaper on g4 and it went fine, i just had to use all my skills for last stagger and save special ulti for dest .is your artist not running vhp or something?
@@b4tb Artist is running VPH and I'm pretty sure we are all running more overwhelms than we would like to. I think one of the biggest issues comes at 65 bars stagger destro, since I have to commit Cata to the initial stagger and our other classes also have some good stagger tied to destro skills. All in all I might start just playing G4 with PM setup since TTH burst stagger is just smoge outside of Cata/Meteor stream
Idk how you guys do damage in that gate. Even with eating every orb I don’t see my damage damage change at all beyond maybe 5m at best and some cd reduction yet I see ppl pump so much damage. I really don’t get how ppl doing that much damage. This is with keeping all my skills on cooldown and 90% B.A as hunger reaper.
@@HorizonMediaGaming I don't think there's any secret to it honestly. You get the orbs in time and you hit the boss with your biggest skills of cooldown and don't forget to use awakening, it's gonna be even more important after the balance patch. If you don't mess the shakling mechanic boss stays pretty much in place for a good chunk of the fight, so even classes with slow hitting or delayed skills get to have fun. That being said, 5m feels low even without orbs. You should probably focus on your uptime more. I don't have highlevel reaper myself, but the bible says that the last reaper I did normal g2 with, did 16m dps on clear (lvl 9 gems, 1600 ilvl nothing extra).
@@HorizonMediaGaming the simlest way to think about it is imagine what you do in trixion. You gotta aim for the same uptime - with the boss shackled it is doable. Also you need figure out what skills best to use when you have blood buff up. My guess would be rage spear + one other red skill, but my reaper knoweledge is very limited (it is also possible that moon repaer benefits more from the blood buff). As for awakenings, try to use all of them but 1 for the first part of the fight and then use the last one in the final part where the boss takes increased damage. PS It's important to remember that your dps would vary quite a bit based on the support you have. We had a radiant support in this run, so you might have lower base damage if your support doesn't know how to play.
Ohh my, my reaper is 1595, and since I had a blast progging on my WD I wanted to run with another dps, but this makes me wanna keep my reaper parked.. I didnt think of how smoge g2 is for back attackers, let alone a reaper that only does 30-40m dmg per attack. 🤔 And I dont think I still have my moon build.
so super easy stand at one of the back legs then if you see you have mark on your head you don't get seen if you see the add move its head just a smidge its a counter so easy fight, we carried a reaper through this week with no issues
I dont understand complains about stagger on g4, its ez gate with any classes if you know how to play your class. I'm doing x6 voldis (2 hard mode), it takes about 35 minutes each. Find a static if you dont like being jailed. On x110, if all counters executed properly, our stagger ends right when mirrors disappear, with lots of spare time
That's the easiest stagger check by a mile. Ppl complain because obviously they don't play perfect while progging, and some classes have a carefree time.
During my first weeks on hard mode i was in party with gunlancer and i didnt like it at all, gate4 was quite tough on dps side and overall i felt like gunlancer wasn't contributing much to our party, both in terms of dps and even stagger. So i dont understand why people want gunlancers in this dungeon. When we replaced him with summoner, dungeon became way easier, even on stagger checks lol. We now have 3 hit master classes(sorc, arcana, summoner) and a bard. I feel like hit master classes are the best in this dungeon, because bosses are running around and spinning way too often. Never seen a back attack class outdamaging hit master class in this dungeon (assuming more or less equal gear) :D
It's funny how my experience was the opposite of yours. I clear 5 NM Voldis per week (wd/sh/arcana/slayer/reaper) and the easiest class to play for this raid was by far my Thirst reaper. The bosses have such slow animations that they literally can't touch you with all the mobility the class has. But i don’t prog on her like you, trust me your next run gonna be smooth af
