Lost BIG TWIN calves🐮! Bad start to the morning 😞🤬 

Well that sucks but shit happens

One year we had over 10% twins on 220 cows. That was a frustrating spring. Lmao 🤣 Sold lots of bottle calves that year, we don’t leave two on a cow here, one good, big calf is enough. Ran out of buyers after a bit, started giving them away to my buddy, said he didn’t want more, but I’d kick them into his corral with the rest. Lol 😆

Having a hard time hitting the like button for a loss like that, but I did it. Twins suck, been there. It’ll get better. 👍🍻

Freaking sucks Aaron!!!! Last year we lost a big heifer calf. Cord broke before we could try getting her out.. freaking spooky when the calf inside the cow is mooing at you!!!! Did everything to get her out fast enough to keep her breathing, but lost her when her chest was in the canal.. Lost a set of premy twins about 10 years ago.. 15°f at night.. by the looks of them, we might have been able to save them, if we would have been right there... All part of the job...

Sorry to hear...that sucks, My Grandfather had calves lost not sure if he had twin calves at anytime...was a time not to be around the farm!

When I was farming I hated losing a calf 😊

That’s what happened to us last year it was quarter to four in the morning fuckin around with a cow both twins died sadly and it was snowing and blowing and raining to that night
