The last few years it feels like everybody’s been hitting the cleanest combo DI, SDI and Slideoffs on stuff that we used to think had guaranteed followups every day of the week. Could land a Stomp as Ganon and I guarantee my opponent be clean on the opposite end of FD before hitstun wears off. Love seeing old school combos.
Gameplay has definitively changed since this time , everything is much quicker and optimised now ... however , this is really cool footage and most of em I've never seen before ! Great video for remembering the good old melee days

King deserved to be called the inventor of puff. If puff was usually seen doing those 3:28 type of combos she wouldn't be as much of a campy 1 trick pony. I wish to see more aggro puffs like 2saint in the future.
Few of these aren't exactly lost (all the Mango combos in Sigma's So Much Style), but the video is an awesome concept and brings me back to when melee was completely different. Love your channel, please upload more !
Im boomer, so remember a lot of these when they first came out. How many other fighting games can you pinpoint the exact set from a single combo? Melee is something special man.
