Heartbreak actually works for the lost giving him 3 invisible broken hearts and 4 to 5 free hits without dying, but if you get hits 4 times it will count as if you had 12 broken hearts so even if you had 9 lives you would keep dying

alt floors, while difficult, gives you that second myserty choice of items in case the first one is terrible. plus, in downpour/dross II, you can reroll the knife piece for another item + the extra boss item.

The samael mod was updated recently and i think its totally worth checking out again. theres a new ending which would totally make for a fun video as well as some new mechanics with samael

Job is a really good mod. after completing the post it note you can start to unlock extra things that about double the content in the mod (you could also probably ask the mod creator for a particular cheat code to let you just auto unlock the stuff from the post it note and go straight into the other stuff

A list of some of my favorite mods, in no particular order: Wario's Cap by AgentCucco (coding) and Surrealdude (spriting) gives you a unique effect in every save file. It's an incredible mod and deserves to be in the game as "Smario's Cap" or something. Try your luck and see what you get! Another one would be Salt by Niro. Every missed shot increases damage (up to times 2 multiplier) and the spriting is just... perfect. I love it, it represents my internal feelings every time I play Isaac. Aintramural by [ZG] Zandorum and AgentCucco (showing up again) is a unique item that is pretty neat IMO. No other item quite like it in the game that I've seen. When entering a new room, there's a 1/6 chance to create a new room of the same type. Which, essentially, means more pickups, charges, and if you're lucky, Items. Worse Ultra Secrets Rooms (by (ㅇㅅㅇ” ) ) and Better Ultra Secret Rooms (by (ㅇㅅㅇ” ) as well) also makes the (already rare) rooms have more variety in not only item pools, but in layouts. Too bad Edmundo hasn't gotten around to patching the crashes with custom rooms >:[ (ED WHAT ARE YOU DOING ED [I'm joking. Still, game's bugged pls fix ;-;]) SCP Pack by Drarkyel and Akeldama is also a great addition! It adds several SCP-based items without being too out of place! They all work great, are unique, and it's honestly probably my favorite item-only mod. On the topic of which, an "every item is Bubblebath Bonbons" challenge where you start with soymilk would be an incredible addition. Eyeguy's extra NPCs are a great addition to the game. More shopkeepers is always a nice thing, and I kept getting surprised and laughing my ass off whenever I found a new one I had not seen before (hmmm... today I will find more new shopkeepers). More Unus Cards by radarhead is a great addition as well. Just say no to not getting into Boss Rush or Hushmaster 9999! (Does not come included with people fighting over having, or not having UNO. That's a separate mod and just as great as it sounds.) Red Map | Ultra Secret Locator by AgentCucco (seeing a trend here...) is also a great trinket. As someone who loves Ultra secret rooms, having more ways to find them (even if I can't reach them) makes me be filled with joy. Dumplings! by 24Chrome and jubbalub re-adds the dumpling enemy into the game after they got stuck in Antibirth. They're still bullshit and still as annoying as they were! (And still worth getting an eraser, imo :] I'm still glad they're back.) No More Knife Piece Search makes it less tedious to get knife pieces, respecting your time as a player over figuring out the puzzles the game threw at you just like Antibirth did. Hanging dream catcher by Mighty🗿 should be in the base game. It's unobtrusive, nice looking, and generally compliments the single item that makes use of the transition screen. (ed pls) Eternal Items Mod ads quite a few items that are pretty neat. Some are a bit eh-ish, but in general, they're all really great! Planetarium chance by Peachee is also a neat addition. No more double guessing! (ED GET THIS IN THE GAME ALREADY) Aero's Locust Expansion Mod or More Locusts! do the dev's work for them. Not gonna lie I prefer the former. Clearer Hidden enemies by oatmeline gets rid of 70% of BS from fighting bosses like Policephalous, the Stain, the Pile, and FOOKEN NIIDLES. Hate those worms. Tarot Cloth + is a great mod. Just like the locust expansion mod, does the Dev's work for them. Anyway uhh... that's about it. Those are all the mods I always play with. Some I disable sometimes, like Harder Ultra Secret rooms when I'm having a particularly shitty day but in general, they're all great!

A suggestion I've always thought would be neat for the Lost / Tainted Lost, is to have the built-in mechanic with soul hearts and demon hearts where if you pick one up you'll get a +1% Angel or Devil Room chance depending on the corresponding heart that you picked up. Or just a flat +1% chance to both whenever you pick up a heart. I thought it would be balanced too considering you typically would only pick up at max 5-6 soul hearts a floor so that would only be a 5-12% increase a floor which isn't gamebreaking, just more fair since you're the lost.

oh hey, you should try "The Stranger", it's like a dozen characters in one, kinda, overall seems pretty neat and looks like a high-quality mod was actually gonna suggest it on a previous video, but felt kinda out of place at that moment

The Job Mod is insanely good, new character with a tainted variant with a really unique mechanic, actual post it note completion rewards for both tainted and non tainted (including soul stone), new challenges, and in addition to all of that there's additional challenges and bonuses for both characters that you can do after finishing their post it note to earn additional bonuses and alternate "tainted" versions of each of the new items. It's like a mini expansion, highly recommend.

For streaks you could say *at least* every 2 or 3 wins without alt floor, you *have to* go alt floor.

Hutts' Isaac drinking game, rules: Drink whenever Hutts says a line that could be used as a Twitch alert sound. Yes, you get to decide. No, you don't have to stop.

How to streak in rep: Flip a coin, heads for regular, tails for tainted. Hit random. The streak ends if you get tainted jacob.

Something to mention about Heartbreak huts its honestly one of the strongest items for lost, but also the most dangerous. the reason the lovers? heartbreak and magic skin work for the lost is that there is no "visible" hp. So each time each of these effects activate you do gain your respective broken hearts, meaning the effect of heartbreak counts the amount of broken hearts you have and you gain damage respectively, and whenever you take a non holy mantle hit it will save you from dieing at the cost of gaining more broken hearts. HOWEVER, if you have extra lives and you cap out in broken hearts, whenever you take a new item you will instantly die afterwards due to having all your broken hearts preventing any actual hp

Pick's up Guppy's Eye, breaks fires without anything in them anyways. Oh Hutts.

The maid in the mist is a very fun and unique modded character that I love to play. She may be kind of weak in the beginning and can be hard to get used to, but the pay-off is very rewarding.

Btw Hurtts, The Lost and Tainted Lost have a counter for broken hearts, and if i remember correcly, if you break all the 12 hearts, you just commit die

A way for streaking would be that you have to go alt path on every even numbered run (mother is optional but knife is a must)

For streaks, if you're worried about not using the alt floors, then you could say like you can't end the game the same way twice in a row. So if you were to end at mega Satan, then the next two or three runs couldn't end at mega Satan. That way you would be forced to explore alternative floors and the new content.
