I've only played a couple sessions of this game with a buddy before cancer got in the way. I've learned so much about this game in the last couple of weeks watching your videos, picking up on the knowledge you share and the habits I see you use. I have somewhere around 4,500 hours in Escape From Tarkov and it helps me focus on learning things like what you loot, what to value, but also you display such a different set of priorities in this game vs EFT where everyone pushes loot. The survival instinct in your videos is ever clear and present and keeps things intense and interesting. My disease makes it hard for me to use a mouse and keyboard right now, so I recently was gifted a Steam Deck. I'm really interested in playing DayZ and giving it a real shot, but I'm intimidated by the precision I know comes from a PC setup in the right hands. Do you think I'd be able to play an enjoy DayZ on a Steam Deck using the gyros for aim? Or would I spend hours looting up only to be helpless in the face of any player with a gun? Thanks for the videos man. It's awesome having such constant adventures to roll through with you.
If you can play on modded serverson the Deck, try a PvE server or a server with designated PvP locations, so you can loot up, practice shooting and combat on zombies and wildlife, and meet someone for backup before engaging in PvP.

Idk if you’ll see this but, man, You’re vids are amazing. I’ve watched almost all of them by now. They let me escape from reality for a lil while and it’s like watching movies. You even inspired me to start playing dayz. I hope you never stop making videos and I know there’s a lot of people that can agree with me I’m sure. I bet you put a hell of a lot of time into these because I realized dayz is no where near as easy as you make it look. Anyway keep up the great work and congrats on everything. This video made me laugh so hard dude. Andy was definitely an extra terrestrial. Drew did a good job keeping up after that first death. To then get Gaussed before his date was poetic. Especially since you and even the viewer thought the Gauss dude was probably telling stories.

Also the movie audio, go to your settings on whatever your streaming the movie on, it will more than likely be defaulted on 5.1 surround sound which is why music is super loud but dialog is quiet. Hell yeah, you're 100% on that! Movies that make you strain to hear the whisper whisper or mumble b.s. that is usually important dialogue for the story, then blast you dramatic music or action scenes. So you gotta choose sub- titles, learn to read lips, or make your neighbors angry...

I love watching your videos. Your comments with the wolves was priceless. When I watch anyone play dayz I'm so jealous, anytime I see players in wolf spawns I panic. Although most of the time you don't seem to have them spawn on you. I am what they call "Dayz Cursed" anytime I am near a predator spawn or someone says or thinks the words "wolf" or "bear" they spawn on me. And I mean with like a vengeance. Not one or two but one or two packs. Players that have been playing since beta think I'm joking until they play with me then they see I am cursed. I so wish I could run through those areas without panicking. 😂

Hey there should be an audio setting in your tv settings where you can choose movie audio, voice, or music, and it could be that it’s defaulted on the wrong thing which is why some scenes sound louder than others
I really enjoy your videos smoke. I'll be honest, when i saw it was a 4 hour unedited stream i was a bit disappointed. But you're one of the few streamers that I can spend 4 hours watching. I've tried watching other streamers 6-7hr streams, but it's not the same. Keep the playstyle you have, it's unique and interesting to watch. Especially when you have a couple of team mates your genuinely devoted to keeping alive. 👍
