Lost Dog Street Band - Terrible and True [Reaction] 

His wife plays fiddle in the band. Benjamin Todd was a drifter and addicted to heroin he would hop trains from Kentucky to Colorado to go see his wife/girlfriend at the time while she was going to college there and he was always really strung out by the time he got there and she would take care of him. He's been off drugs for several years but still drinks I believe. They are making music consistently. I haven't heard a bad song from them. Think Hank Williams and Woodie Guthrie they're in that type of tradition. "War inside of Me" is a favorite .

Benjamin Tod, using again, and he was in a band called barefoot surrender, check out forgotten my name. His friend from that band killed himself. So he wrote a song called “ carry on” he promised to never glamorize killing himself , he realized words have power.

You have to do, using again and then I will rise. Benjamin Tod is so honest that there’s songs so private that his wife won’t do them. Those are two. Then he wrote a song for her, for putting up with his addiction, it’s called “ end with you”
