@@wtbman I don't recall mentioning anything about money... You should do your research before you buy. Mountains get a lot of snow, and the floodplains, flood. If you build it a place prone to natural disasters, expect them. Or just leave the land alone like they should've done with suncrest. Now since we've built all over the wildlife's winter range. The DWR is killing the Elk herds by forcing them off the golf course which are now their only source of food atm.

​@@wtbmanI think they and all of us feel for the poorer or basement dwelling people. I am one of them. I think they are just saying it is funny how they should complain with all their stuff that money can buy when it it doesn't protect them from mother nature and also when they build and buy the way they do that they should actually get more snow than the rest of us. The unpleasant thoughts, the backaches, the maids that they didn't hire to do their dirty work...... not to mention the snow, flooding, and fires. Heaven forbid they should but a mcmansion up there and only get pros and not cons with it!

To be fair this is a consequence of climate change. It'll pretty much only get worse

I'm not rich and live there. This winter was ridiculous. Snowblowing 3 times a day sometimes. There were times you couldn't get down the hill to get anything. I had a sick 4 year old daughter at the time. What a weird comment judging an entire community. But, you do you fella

People will find any excuse they can to criticize rich people for having wealth. That is because they are envious of their wealth and success. I guarantee there wouldn’t be any comments like these if the snow problems happened in a poor neighborhood of South Salt Lake or West Valley.
