Thank you my dude for making such a simple but effective video that everyone can watch and understand without having to go off the deep end and go into unnecessary details! Again, thank you!
Author forgot to mention that only Logitech USB receivers with an orange star on top, known as "Unifying" receivers, will work with the instructions shown. Not all Logitech USB receivers are compatible. Logitech unifying receiver is around $5 online.
still you have people on here that are absolutley tech illiterate and they come to watch a tutorial or video of something expecting it to be a 100% informative and without even a disclaimer in the video whatsoever, no one clicks on a video in youtube and just automatically assumes that they need to expand the description in order to find out the key fact is left out in the video, that literally makes this video pointless to about 90 percent of people, also the fact you make a video with your little kids in the background screaming their heads off is absolute bull crap, and very disrespectful for the viewers who have to hear that come blaring out of their speakers unknowingly. there are people out there that dont want to hear that crap when they are trying to retain information @@Techgeniusideas
I broke my USB for my mouse and was able to use this tutorial to take a USB from an old mouse I had that no longer worked and sync it with my current mouse. It worked amazingly, thank you so much!
Thanks so much for this video. I had to buy another M570 mouse but it wouldn't pair with the dongle it came with or the existing one. Now it's working perfectly!
It's not working for the K230 keyboard. The unifying software just keeps saying that there's no unifying receiver, even though a bluetooth receiver is plugged in... pathetic.
Thank you so much! You just made my home office day much more productive after the initial frustration of my partner bringing the dongle connected to the keyboard to work!
Thank you for sharing this useful information. I'm trying to pair an old USB Bluetooth dongle from and wireless mouse, to a PS3 controller. I tried using the Scp toolkit and it works fine if the controller is wired but no luck with mouse dongle.
I have a Gear Head brand mouse (lost the receiver - not Logitech brand) so can this method still be used if I buy a replacement Dongle to pair with the mouse?
Thank you so much sir for helping. Please let me also Is there any need to connect the extra Bluetooth dongle to the laptop, though it is provided with the mouse ,because there is an inbuilt Bluetooth in the laptop ? Thank you so much sir for helping.
Hi! I hope you see this comment I received a wireless keyboard that requires a dongle but the problem is it doesn't have a dongle, and i don't know what to do! The keyboard is an WB-8068 Weibo Keyboard set What USB dongle should I buy? is it a Bluetooth adaptor or a wifi adaptor? This alone is helpful enough
My unify mouse M510 is not pairing to the logitech app. The USB cable is connected and it is still not connecting to my mouse. Tbf I can move my mouse and anything but it doesn't pair to my mouse device. It is inactive I think
I plugged in a USB dongle of my old iBall mouse but the unifying software is not detecting it. It says, 'no unifying receiver plugged into your computer'.
hi man i just have question, does it work for g933? because customer support told me that g933 needs lightspeed receiver and i don't know if this one is lightspeed or if it will work with g933?
Yeas it’s logitech headset g933 and they exactly told me “it should be another lightspeed receiver for G933 to be able to pair it” So i was wondering is the dongle in the video lightspeed or not good sir
I have a Logitech M215 mouse which i have lost dongle, now i am planning to buy a Logitech M235 with unifying dongle does it go with my Logitech M215 as well?
Good sir, would it work on razer? I lost my usb dongle on my razer atheris mouse. What solution you may suggest so that i could still use my mouse. Please and thank you.
