I love the fact that you're so young but yet so informed about Hip-Hop. I feel like I could have a really good conversation about Rap music with you. Unlike most of these younger fools. Keep goin my boi
Tupac definitely has the most lost media out of anybody i reckon its to the point that we don't know exactly how far it goes but we know its a fairly big margin. Producers like Kurt Kobane and others talk about it. Pac used to record on b side throw away tapes and spent time in the wack room hiding recordings and in sections where people may not find them until he can find the right beat for the songs and there was also hierarchy involved where songs were getting axed and producers blocked, i forget names but there was people cutting off people and some albums that come out from Pac are actually missing songs because of people cock blocking other people. MOB was supposed to be on All Eyez on Me but Kurt's track got blocked. There is tons of interviews too that are missing and i have seen footage on some DVD that is hard to find like can't even get it online.
Pac is definitely up there! I’ve seen recently that there’s been a couple of interviews from him that have popped up. I’m pretty sure the Angie interview isn’t his only unreleased interview but I think it’s definitely the one many people want to hear
My opinion I feel like Angie on some clout chaser shit with this Pac interview💯 wtf you keep speaking about the interview for if you not go release the full thing???🤔 Stop talking about it💯💯
I’m very curious to hear what a ‘hit ‘em up’ type interview would sound like 😂. I think Gene Deal brings up a good point but I think if Pac was really going at Diddy really bad I don’t think Diddy would want that out tbh
@@Saint.B Yeah many of these people are just talking shit half the time i have seen stuff from Gene and other where they grasping even people in pacs camp like Trech and even the outlaws do it like talk all this hype shit all the time just to sound like they know some shit when really its just bullshit you can tell and in some cases we actually know different than what they saying.
I have felt the reason she never released it was because its probably damaged or she lost it or taped over it even. But she uses the fact that she knows she recorded it as clout to build hype but never tells people it got damaged or what ever. Like anyone that knows they have hidden footage of someone as famous as Pac would sell that shit on for mega money right? They guy is like Elves levels of fame so you can make a lot of money off of his estate or anthing outside of that like lost or hard to get footage.
It's dope to see another installment of this series, its been a while too. This and along with "story behind a classic" are my fav series on your channel. I got some ideas for a future episode but it's been a while since I watched the past episodes so I might accidentally mention one you've already done + this is from memory but I think the sources are relatively easy to find. But anyway, here's my 2 ideas: 1. Snoop Dogg's original (?) verse for Down 4 My N's. In an interview with Beats By The Pound on B. High's channel they talked about how Snoop's original verse was too "dangerous" and that it could "cause a war" (note that I'm paraphrasing and this is from my memory so if I'm wrong, correct me). Iirc they said that he was calling out names too, from what I remember Snoop was basically dissed Death Row. They told Snoop to re-record his verse due to the reasons stated earlier. So thats a lost media because we'll probably never hear that verse or it has been destroyed, idk. Despite that, I still recommend and think it's worth to check out that part of the interview where they talk about the song, has a cool backstory to it imo 2. Pimp C's verse for the Can't Tell Me Nothing Remix (Ye). Idk if this was going to be an offical remix or a mixtape remix (reason I say that is because Ye released a promotional mixtape leading to Graduation with a couple of Can't Tell Me Nothing remixes). Story goes that Pimp C recorded his verse and Ye wasn't too fond of it, think they said that it was controversial and they didn't like the dissing, but Pimp C didn't take any offense to it because iirc he knew the song was like a "prayer" to Ye so he told Ye that he'll record a new verse for the remix as soon as he could. Remember reading somewhere that he was planning to record the new verse sometime when he was in LA but unfortunately he passed away before he could do so (R.I.P. Pimp C). I think some of the lyrics from the first verse that he did for the remix has been surfaced online but we gotta keep in mind that he was planning to re-do it. To my knowledge, Pimp C's first remix to Can't Tell Me Nothing is still unreleased and his plan to re-do his remix is more of a "what if" Hope that you've gotten some interesting ideas and things to talk about in a future episode from this. Anyway, this comment has been long af so if you've read it this far, I truly appreciate it 🙏
@@cloutcancun Don't worry about it being a while since the last volume, do them whenever it feels right and when you have the time 💪 We'll still be here whenever it drops
@@Saint.B yep, that’s what Snoop Dogg said, but some of his West Coast fans are mad at him for saying that. they even said 2Pac would be mad if he heard that.
I was watching some Box promos from the 90s and saw a clip for the making of “Nuttin but a g thang” and I’m like wow I didn’t know they made a boxtalk for that
The ones I've been interested to really find are Hot 97's announcement of 2pac and Biggie's death with reactions from phone callers, Big on Hot 97 telling Brooklyn to stand up when it was reported Snoop and the Dogg Pound were in NYC in 95, Jay-Z's reaction to Ether winning the poll and his mom making him apologize on air after dropping Supa Ugly, Cam'ron talking reckless about Nas/his dead mom/babymoms/daughter on Hot 97.
A lost track you should look into is Run Your Jewels by Eminem. It was included on a snippet tape for his first album Infinite and it included a snippet for another track which was included on the album. There is very little info known about this track and i think it ended up being taken off the album because they wanted to go for a more radio friendly feel but that's just my theory
