God i miss this band so freakin much... But i guess its no easy thing to deal the loss of THAT singer. Can't blame anyone on this one. Simply miss em !
it's funny that the only live video we have of this monumental band is a low quality poorly mixed recording of a gig where the lead guitarist was sick....yet this is still jawdroppingly good
I figured he had probblems with his voice. I noticed his pitch was absolutely laser precise on Pure, the first song. But right at the end it seemed like he pushed too hard and was a little bit shaky since. How do you know he was sick? Would make sense anyway. And if so an even bigger achievement that he could still sound so good the whole concert
@@martoth-7395 apparently i cannot read. I thought he wrote that Daniel was sick. I will check out the song you sent! But to clarify i know very well he is an absolute monster on vocals, and not just in the studio. But for whatever reason, he seems to start struggling a bit during this particular show after the first song. I meant no disrespect at all, i know very well how even the smallest thing can throw anyones voice off from time to time and especially so with singing this demanding and ambitious!
@Wells2TheMax Yes that is correct! An underrated film in my opinion. I randomly came upon it several months ago and I smiled to hear a clip in this performance!
@HeimanChords You are probably right on Daniel's abiilities topic. He's awesome and has control of many important aspects in singing. However, I think he should take care of his vocal chords by putting less pressure on his throat and strengthen his diaphragm instead. Notice his veins on his throad sometimes when goes up on a tone.
Damn .. cant believed u questioned his diapraghma's ability .. You think he can produce such superpower high range without hardrock diapraghma power ??? Man .. u know nothing bout what u talkin about ...
I know voice and I think you're overthinking it a bit, he's just a really natural talent who spent a lot of time rehearsing to his favorite songs and heroes. Certainly his high falsetto range is kind of freakish and not something most men can do. Guys who think in terms of the physiology of singing would not ever sing rough...
@santana78100 I believe in this show the guitarist who'd usually play leads was sick so they got the synth guy to take some of the leads, thus they turned him way up. Not that I'm complaining, as a synth guy myself.
