If this is not your thing, so be it. But this caustic comment seems unnecessary to me. It is harder and harder for people to make small movies and/or costume dramas. You seem to think that is a waste of time. I completely disagree. 5/19/22

Yeah like Jesus Christ what the Hell is wrong with some people? My God it’s just so disrespectful, right? People aren’t required to accommodate your religious preferences, Kat. Not everyone believes in God. I put up with Christians telling me I’m off to Hell and deserve it so you should be able to put up with what is, in the grand scheme of things, really not a big deal. After all, I’m not attempting to blackmail you into changing your beliefs under the threat of burning alive in a fire pit, am I? Imagine how messed up people that do that must be? Couldn’t be me.

@@loissmith7418 First of all, I’m allowed to find something about a movie annoying. I wasn’t ranting or personally attacking anyone. I think finding it annoying was okay, and well within my area of rights. Technically we all deserve Hell, but I’m sorry they say that to you. I’m very aware that there are countless people who twist Christianity to try to excuse their hatred and pride. We just have to not give them the time of day. If you want to know what Christianity is *supposed* to be about, look at Jesus. He welcomed, became friends with, and loved those deemed “most sinful” by society. In reality, the most in error, who were Jesus’s main human enemies, were prideful and evil leaders of his *own* religion. The people who were supposed to be the most good and righteous of society. So the hateful and hypocritical “Christians” today are unknowingly going against Jesus, following suit of the ways of these bad Pharisees and scribes. It’s too bad for their own souls, but like I say, for the ones who are too far gone in their self-deceit and hypocrisy, all we can do is ignore them. The reason there are so many terrible “Christians,” and “Christianity” has a long history of being violent, hateful, money-hungry, and power-obsessed, is because many human beings have a strong desire to do these things, and abusing religion has always been the easiest way to do so. In other words, it’s easiest to get away with something terrible if you convince yourself and others that “God said so,” “It’s the will of God,” “it’s for God.” Because who dare goes against the creator of the universe himself and risks damning their own soul? Again, this doesn’t say anything about Jesus if we look at his actual actions and words, but rather it just says something about evil human tendencies. And yes, people who threaten others that they’ll burn them alive in a fire pit are terrible. Stupid medieval Catholics.

@@katpage9378 The first thing you don't understand is that the time period was extremely blasphemous in France. The French Revolution basically put an end to religion for a time. Not only were they beheading Kings, they wanted to oust the corrupt church as well...

Well yeah...it shows how people are, you take lessons from it, it's not there to make you like or approve it.
