I think al 3 pairs of parents should be proud! But I do believe there is something more special about Nadia. Nadia should run for president when she is old enough, what a differents she would make to the world. She had the wisdom, the kindness, the understanding, the will to change the world. I would vote for her👍😀
Nadia was the greatest storyteller of all😁. I could listen to her for hours. The forest Gods really took care of her coz she's a nature lover kid. And Thank goodness they're all safe.
I agree with you. My uncle taught us how to hold a gun right and how to shoot. He taught us how to build fires, how to hunt, camp and he always taught us survival. He was a great teacher
Tammy Breytenbach You're right. As I was watching this I was thinking if I ever had a child I would definitely enroll them in some type of survival course or camp.
Nadia is truly an incredible young lady. She held herself together so well throughout her ordeal and is able to speak so calmly but genuinely about her experience. She is so wise beyond her years.
As parents we unfortunately don't and won't ever know all of what our children may have learned and where they have learned it from. Her mother probably said that without realizing she may have picked up some survival skills from the books.
Judith * i remember losing mine once and i was at school and lived quite a while away from there so i had to get home while seeing almost nothing it was hell 😂
When she said she didn’t wanna cry bc she’d be embarrassed 1. I’m eighteen and would be balling 2. That helped her a lot because she would’ve been even more dehydrated
I was really having bad day i thought it's me who imagined her that i laughed until couldn't breathe she got another personality that Wil just cheer you up
I just finished watching from Roland, Oklahoma. I cried until Nadia said she didn't know toilet paper could save someones life, LOL. That should go in to the boy/girl scout books. I am now going to put 2 rolls of toilet paper in out survival packs!
I taught every one of my 5 children, "If you get lost, HUG A TREE!!!" This means once you realize you are lost/separated find the closest tree or object and STAY there! We will come to you! If you keep wandering it only makes it harder to find you and more dangerous. This is the MOST IMPORTANT SURVIVAL SKILL they can have if they are in this situation or at a store etc. Then of course I taugh them about shelter etc.
I almost think that every time I see an episode of get lost on woods.. if they stay on spot from the beginning that got lost, they would have great chances to be found sooner..
When we go dirt biking. We were taught to go back to the last place you saw each other. Staying put is the next best thing though! Especially for kids that aren’t used to it!
Yeah it’s in my suggested videos because I watch so much ISBA and those wonder vids (that often show ISBA and other 40+min survival docos) I have literally just started watching, but I bet these kids are more resourceful than the family who dropped the sat phone in the water and shot a flare to the moon. 😭
Ohhhhh sweet little boy. So glad he was found safe and sound. When dad said he felt like he floated off that mountain, I bawled like a baby. I felt so much relief just watching this unfold on screen, I can only imagine how he must have felt during that entire ordeal. And that actual photo at the end… *happy tears* Oh how I love love love happy endings.
I just finished watching from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the cute girl Naida, she is smart I liked her I liked how she sees things in a different way and her view toward nature it's beautiful, she should write a book about this adventure
I don't how could you not notice him missing sooner, he must have been ignoring him to begin with. Whenever my kids and I have gone on a walk , they are constantly talking to you the whole time, your right by their side. There was obviously a lack of attention for this to happen, I have no sympathy for him just the boy. Glad he was OK.
Such lucky kids these ones are to have these very good parents....loving,,,,caring.....ready to die for their children. So many kids are discarded these days for drugs, and other evils
I’m so happy for the children and the families, and very impressed with the 👮 who thought to investigate near the dented tree, and the volunteer who strung the T paper. Warms my heart ♥️ when volunteers help and recover missing children or anyone. Love this! Naudia is 😉 amazing!
Miss Nadia needs to become an actress or a storyteller of some sort, she has an amazing ability to tell about her ordeal!! So many kids are stuck to video games or their phones these days [which is fine] but its good to see a child who still is interested in the great outdoors.
Agree. Not only that, always not matter what, when camping you always take a whistle each. For this exact reason. Blow the whistle more likely to be heard.
Last year a little boy (8 yo) was driving his bike infront of his mom on his way to school. A Truck run over him and his mom saw him dying. (The truck driver didn't see him). I was driving to work that same corner 30 minuts before that happend. Sad story. Sorry, I think about it while I read your comment
the boy was in front but too far in front so the adults could not see him. He'd gone ahead of his dad and the others, with his 3 brothers, when the others stopped to sort the horse out. The boy should not have been allowed to go on ahead with 3 other children like that who were just concerned about getting out of a storm
I think he just felt guilty for not noticing sooner, he deserves to feel guilty. I've taken my kids to the bush heaps of times and never are they not talking to you . They are always beside you, he was obviously not with his kid, no attention till it was too late. So happy the boys ok though despite his neglectful father.
I hate it when any kind of news story or documentary uses the terms "suffers from," "struggles with," for ANY type of disability, I prefer the term, "lives with."
All the kids stories were inspiring but Nadia was my favorite! The way she was so excited about going beyond where your not supposed to go to see nature she read about , and a place without people or buildings! 🙌🏽😁 I loved that part! Such a great story teller heartfelt and honest, smart and brave! Truly amazing she was unscathed by the Florida swamp for days!
Aw Nadia’s story got to me a lot and I’m usually not emotional. Maybe because I have Asperger’s too, and the way she talks, her cadence is a lot like mine was at 11. But she coped extremely well, I know my anxiety would’ve been overwhelming especially at her age. Glad they’re all safe.
She was being so brave & I related to her thoughts & feelings, I have autism too. I notice in your pic you have an NG tube, do you have Ehlers Danlos or autonomic dysfunction? I know many people with autism have hypermobility or Ehlers Danlos too.
I've meet Nadia before, she was a senior in high school when I was a freshman. She's pretty cool, and has awsome fashion sense. I've seen her around UCF campus, cool that I met her after remembering being told she was missing when I was a kid.
Grayson and his dad's bond is so touching and so ♥️ warming and I wish I've seen my dad. Nadine is a very, very, very smart and brave young girl. She's book 📙 smart, but never thought she is also nature smart. Love these smart kids. They survived and still here with their family and is happy with them alive.
This whole episode just had me crying 😭 such brave kids. Greyson and Nadia are just so sweet and so smart. They were all so brave. My biggest fear as a parent is something happening to one of my kids. I couldn’t imagine.
so happy that all the kids survived and the braveness of being lost was unbelievable and the girl in the car amazing how she was finally found also. so grateful for a happy ending
Three very lucky children and parents. I can't imagine the horror of going through anything like this with one of my children. I wish every lost child story could end this way. I couldn't help but be completely charmed by Nadia - her common sense, fearlessness and pragmatic way of viewing the situation were astonishing for someone her age.
Hummingbird 22 It's a long bad story, look him up. If I tell you, I'll be biased because I hate him for going on National television to lie to the world
Nadia reminds me of my youngest daughter. High on the spectrum for autism. Very articulate, very smart. Oh, how I love my daughter with every fiber of my being. She fascinates and inspires awe in me. Watching her think through a problem is absolutely mind blowing. Nadia is the same way. I'm so happy that she was found. "I didn't know toilet paper could save your life." just made me chuckle. These are the children who are going to change the world.
What a cute interesting little girl. Love the way she kinda talks out one side of her mouth and her expressions. Very lucky to have survived such an ordeal. Esp after loosing her glasses. I love all variations of this show and it's educational as well.
Nadia came across as such a pure sweet soul...especially her line: " I was hopeless but not upset"...that's maturity and a brave heart. The little boy also was so brave tying his rain coat pieces to trees. The car crash though could b avoided (I think) cos nightime driving for a newbie can b dangerous for so many reasons.
he was in front of them and behind his older brothers as it was said in the video. his brothers rushed in front of him and he couldnt keep up no one is at fault..
This needs to be shortened to make the stories not drag on and on and on......... Also I can’t stand the script and narrators who keep reminding us over and over again the situation is hopeless. Overuse of drama is annoying.
So happy all the kids survived. I must say, I love Nadia. She's absolutely adorable and I could listen to her all day. I'd even like to sit with her over milkshake, just talk about stuff. Something about her is so soothing.
Okay, I think EVERYONE should have a whistle on them everywhere they go, and know where a first aid kit is, or have one in a bag that goes everywhere with you. Or have a really loud sound on your phone that you can turn on if you get into trouble.
I wept all the way through this, as a mom and grandma I can't imagine losing my kids and my emotions ran the whole gambit of terror, defeat, despair and then finally elation for each family as the child was found ALIVE.
I loved the part where Nadia said "who would ever think that toilet paper could save your life"...lol. I'm so grateful all of the children were found and returned to their family. Such brave children!!
Nadia is an incredibly smart & brave girl of true faith!! Her mom seriously underestimated her. Grayson, take survival notes from this young lady. I loved her singing & especially her attitude in the most dire of situations!!!! Most people would have given up & sat down waiting to die. Hats off to you Miss Nadia 🤗🤗 You’re a true inspiration & your story should be shared around the world!!! I wish I could have the pleasure of meeting you 🤗
These kids would do anything to stay alive and tried so hard and succeeded. I watch these kinds of videos for that and for survival tips if I ever get lost in the wilderness, etc.
The fact she survived in the wild and alligators 🐊 and snakes 🐍 and everything is amazing and she is very braved I feel so bad about her mom that took guts and heart ♥️ by Nadia
I was comatose after a motorcycle accident when I was in my teens, and my Mum said the first thing I said when I came to was "please can I have a new bike" - The reality of velocity of what just happened doesn't set in immediately. These children are lucky to be alive, they're so brave, children are very clever too.
Seeing Kourtney!! Her trachea scar brings back so many memories.... when I was 17 I was in a bad car accident also... I spent 8 weeks in coma and when woke up I had a severe TBI along with heart and lung trauma.... I wrapped my car around a tree I don't remember 4 days before my accident bc of my TBI.... I had to go to physical rehab to learn to walk talk and eat on my own again.... she is so blessed to be alive also!!! Aww and the little boy Grayson!!! I can't imagine what his dad went through!!! I have 3 boys and we are all very much outdoor ppl and camp alot I can't imagine
