Recognition of the continuous bombardment we encounter every moment of every day of "white noise." The static, humming, never ceasing background frequency of machinery, life, "noise" in sight, sound, feeling, vibrations, pulsing, pounding, shaking, tasting, smelling, in every imagination form of good, bad, or otherwise. Such may be described as pollution, good vibrations, relaxing, or nerve wracking, etc.
