@@laurenslegends5938 CBS made the movie in 1994 - it’s called Snowbound: The Jim and Jennifer Stolpa Story and it’s available in full length here on RU-vid. Excellent TV film with Neil Patrick Harris, Kelli Williams, Michael Gross and Susan Clark in the lead roles. Highly recommend watching it. I’ve watched it many times. What a beautiful family and heroic story.
That's incredible survival story, have heard something similar like this before where the mother and couple of children survived but unfortunately the father died. Really was so emotional. i have once got lost in the woods for 2 days and it really freaked me out and i started hallucinating, kinda still gives me chills. Anyways thx for sharing lauren

No doubt about it. When people are in desparate situations and are left to their own devices they can be very resilient and possess unbieveable physical stamina and do amazing things especially when you have people depending on you. We must respect the weather and truly appreciate its extremely cruel power. I admire that the family didn't panic. When you are cold it is easy to become disoriented adding to the fact that they were in an unknown desolate area. Their determination and resolve is absolutely astonishing.
